Daniel, when I first saw you
I knew that you had a flame in your heart
And under wild blue sky
Marble movie sky
I found a home in your eyes
We would never be apart

And when the fires came
The smell of cinders and rain
Perfumed almost everything
We laughed and laughed and laughed

And in the golden blue
Car you took me to
The darkest place you knew
And you set fire to my heart

When I run in the dark
(Daniel)
Into a place that's lost
(Daniel)
Under a sheet of rain in my heart
(Daniel)
I dream of home

But in the goodbye bed
With my arms around your neck
Into our mouths the tears crept
Just kids in the eye of the storm

And as my house spun round
My dreams pulled me from the ground
Forever to search for the flame
For home again
For home again

When I run in the dark
(Daniel)
Into a place that's lost
(Daniel)
Under a sheet of rain in my heart
(Daniel)
I dream of home

When I run in the dark
(Daniel)
Into a place that's lost
(Daniel)
Under a sheet of rain in my heart
(Daniel)
I dream of home...

Huge respect and gratitude to Radio Paradise for working for the rapprochement of peoples and continents in our turbulent times! With love from Russia !
There's close to zero artists that have explored the feelings of a childhood crush and expressed those emotions in song.  This is actually really unique stuff.
Natasha Khan is so stunningly talented it takes my breath away. Can't for the life of me understand why she isn't more, more ..... !

There are clear similarities, especially in some of the phrasing, but the chord progressions are certainly not "identical" - they're not even in the same key.
I like this perky tune
Kinda thought this was Florence + The Machine...but I stand corrected.

I listened to this album in its entirety on a car journey recently, and it's plainly a 'concept album' telling a story as the songs are definitely linked, but I couldn't figure out what the story is. Anybody here know?

I love a lot of new music that is probably considered too avant garde and strange to play on this somewhat conservative albeit very good radio station.  It is doubtful that most of the listeners here have even heard of most of the new music that I listen to so don't try to pigeonhole me into an antiquated Classic rock listening old fogey, this could not be more offbase!{#Snooty}

I'm certainly not going to imply that I have tastes so much more advanced than RP listeners at large, but I do understand what sirdroseph is talking about.  As much as I love RP, there is a lot of stuff that I like that wouldn't make the playlist (such as my recent uploads that were shot down) due to either being too odd, too weird, or too unappealing to the majority of the RP listeners.  RP isn't conservative or stodgy  in any sense and I hear a greater variety of music here than I have ever heard anywhere else, but they don't provide the cutting edge indie music that I like.  That's ok, I still listen to RP more than any other kind of radio by far.

The way I see it, RP is a large part of my musical life, but when I have a itch RP doesn't scratch, I know where to go.

Wierd, I was just looking for a B4L music video to watch. love this band !

Then again some things are a matter of taste, like me never being able to cope with Neil Young's voice or the Talking Heads

I listen to RP despite the too common occurrence of of classic rock. I think I saw that you were in Tokyo. If you grew up in the States during the last 40 years then you would know that classic rock has been driven into the ground and beat to death. Those that still love it generally have never expanded their minds as to what constitutes good music and are content to live in the past.

Odd.  This started as an 8 for me.  After hearing it many times, and downloading it, and listening a few more times, I can't find any reason not to move it to a 10.  For now it's a 9, as it may wear thin with too much exposure.  Funny how two normally rational people can have two completely different opinions about the same thing.

What an excellent song! I love the beat and the atmospheric, cathedral-like feel of the whole thing...
I keep thinking that i have to compare this to Florence an the Machine and I have to say I would much prefer Florence and the Machine thats if I were forced to compare that is.

I've somehow missed this in the rotation. But I'm not really a fan of the breathy girl singing thing.I'll hold off on rating this time around, but I think it's probably a 5 or 6 unless it either gets better every repetition, or finishes REALLY strong.
weeeeeeeelll.........
Oh no, not AGAIN....{#Frustrated} It's not a bad song, but it is simply being played too often.

I like what I am hearing from this album.  Like the "Lungs" album by Florence and the Machine, it has some very intriguing song and the singers both have gorgeous voices.

Interesting too, she's wearing a heart on this album and Florence is wearing a set of lungs on hers!

I really like it. Facebook kept bugging me with ads like "If you like soandso, check out...". But, I really love this mood/feel. It's pretty unique.

Lucky you.  It's been too long since I've heard it.  Keep in mind that playing a song only once a day would be unthinkable for a Top 40 station.  I heard that bloody Lady Gaga song three times over the course of one day, and on a radio that I only spent a total of 1 hour within earshot of.

Quite like this,
