Great Beatles cover, especially the guitar solo! Ha! 
Clapton was the solo guitar on the original Beatles song -though the composition and lyrics belong to George. I think under those circumstances it is probably not song theft. Marital maters are always a conversation for parties concerned, so I wager nobody in this room qualifies to participate in this case.
Enjoy the song or don't, that is up to the individual. I for one, think this is a great version. Happy to have heard it a few times here in RP. Thanks RP.

It is emotive to see the youtuve video of this song in the Memorial for George. The story between these two guys (Clapton and Harrison) was quite special. This song and Badge are the two diamonds left from that truncated friendship and joined musicality.

You know, I have liked Prince since I first heard him. No mistaking his ability with voice or 3/4-sized guitar. Happy to learn one of those wailing Fenders is his.
He had some rocking women in his band (forget their names, unfortunately) that went on to score several TV shows, IIRC.
That strangled cry on "I don't know WHYYYYY". Awful. This is so plodding and heavy compared to the original.

McCartney on piano, Billy Preston on organ, Ringo on Drums, Dhani on rhythm guitar, (and as cast of greats). As close to the Beatles as you can get. RIP, Billy Preston, John Lennon, and George Harrison.

wife .. GH and EC were best of friends,, so I guess George was a poor judge of character in both EC and his EX.
I'm not nearly as forgiving as I would have had "Louie" break every finger on EC's hands.....with a sledge hammer.

There was a Pince version that was good, but not here, he wasn't there!!...this was the show in the Albert Hall in London with Mc Cartney, Starr, Petty, et all....and this version with McCartney singing background on piano, Billy Preston on organ, etc., etc. was UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
