I like Beck. But his rap is as bad as the rest of that tired, uncreative, waste-of-time musical genre.

Just so we’re all on the same page, this is an extensive remix of the original track from Guero. Beck has released a few albums where he allows other artists to remix his songs to create something very different from the original, which I think is cool. This is from Guerolito, which is the Guero remix album. This remix is by 8-bit, and definitely reinterprets the original in an interesting way. The original was probably my least favorite song on Guero (which I love). I enjoy this take, but it probably won’t be in my regular playlist.

I normally don't give a hoot about rap. But I find that Beck makes it sorta palatable for an old white dude like me. The album is great, and all over the place in creativity. Love the title cut. This cut is a different remix than the one on the album.

This song is actually a REMIX of "Hell Yes", a track off Beck's forthcoming album Guero. The original version has a lot more scratching and a lot less "Gameboy" beats. Steve griff

I like it (though a bit TOO much synth even for Beck)...he IS one funky white boy! Looking forward to the release. He's also got some serious range though...you want to visit the other end of his soul, listen to his more folky introspective album Sea Change.
