I grew up a 100 miles north of Vancouver BC and we grew up in what seemed to be constant rain. I grew up with a rain coat and gum-boots as someone in the Artic would grow up with warm clothes... To be honest... I miss the rain, the sound of rain on the window, on the roof Funny how you can get used to an enviroment

Is this song being played for the Northeast? It has rained for 8 straight days here and the weatherman says that we can expect three more before we see the sun. We have a dam in my town that I am afraid will burst. Towns in NH just north of me have been washed away by floods and burst dams. Not quite New Orleans yet, but folks are building house boats instead of homes.....

I have to say upon hearing the opening vocals, They Might Be Giants' "Birdhouse in your Soul" popped in my head.
Too funny. This is the first time I've heard this song, and I had to doublecheck and see that it wasn't a TMBG song. It's OK. It's actually good background music for me.

Been listening to "Play" a lot recently. I really liked that CD - and listening to this, I hear the same guitar and like someone else said, the sampler. Play had a bunch of different things on it according to my ears, but not sure I'd want to have another CD full of the same exact stuff.

I saw him at Shoreline Amphitheatre before Bowie some years ago and I was surprised to how hard the set was. He was manic, running all over the stage and playing guitar as if it was Black Dog from Led Zep or some AC/DC song.
