man, these guys jumped the shark about ten years go -- why can't they let go?
So, Drink 7-Up! Total Jingle.
Smoke a big ol Spliff. The transission will ease itself unto reality. And it is good...
Aggh! It hurts, it hurts! The cognitive dissonance between a Bob Marley and these fatuous boobs is causing cerebral meltdown! Make it stop!
this is like easy listening. REM get it together!
Pretty good :)
A long-time fan, I headed to REM's Indy show last night with a bit of skepticism. Skepticism now obliterated. The band was tight, in top form, and put on a wonderful show, with a nice mix of new and old. I was even pleasantly surprised to hear relative obscurities like "Welcome to the Occupation" and "Life and How to Live It." Was REM AWOL for a few years? Maybe. They're back.
so watery i can hear through it. feh.
Thank God there's REM!!
i love REM. i bought this album as soon as it came out. it's great. links to other more mellow, and more recent albums. being the deviant here; i think MONSTER is a great album too. as is well known, it was/is there "love of crunchy guitar" album. it's as close as they get to a powerchord-heavy metal album. it's all good.

Woo Hooooo!! New REM album! I like this one so far. I've only hated one REM album - Monster. Perhaps I should pull that one out and give it another chance. Amazing band - right up there with U2. Is it something about the name.....? :-k
Ditto on Monster. I've given it multiple listens, and still can't get into it. Everything pre-Monster is amazing...
