The rocket ship took me so far away
From the fields where I had lost my way
A million people with a million souls
On a rocket ship that lost control

All I ever wanted was to feel like
I had done something with my life
All I found was you

EXCELLENT!  Thanx RP!
Then there's this.
Those drums, whoa
Produced very well
Hmmm...at first I was like "boy can't wait to bump this on the hi-fi in my truck" and then by the middle of the song I had completely forgotten I was listening to it.  I'm not sure if that's a good or bad result.  Considering I'm at my desk at work and not....well I'll consider it a good sign and rate this track a 7.
Nice.
This guy is just never off the mark is he? {#Drummer}
I had never heard it before... I'm curious, I want to hear more of it... I guess I'm off RP for the coming hour(s), time to do some research :)

For an introduction to VAST pickup a copy of Turquoise & Crimson, which includes this song.  You can support the band directly by surfing to https://www.realvast.com/

I'm sure you meant this comment for the previous song - "Headlock" by Imogene Heap.  She is indeed the singer of Frou Frou.

Everytime I look up, VAST is playing another catchy-as-hell tune. I'm liking pretty much everything from this guy.

Still...your first thought (and mine) were for Sting. I'm not a big fan of his newer stuff, but it has made an impression.
Reminds me of a Sting song too.

I've just succeeded in getting the AAC+ stream to run on my Mac--and just in time for this on headphones. Yes! (Alas, I'm using headphones because the VLC player--see the news forums--doesn't support AirTunes. So far. I think. Bummer.)
This is a year old post, and you may have already solved your issues. In any case, I purchased Airfoil for my Mac, online , so I can transmit any audio to my airport base. It hijacks browsers or other applications and compliments (or replaces) AirTunes. I like it to watch music videos on YouTube and blast them through the stereo speakers.

Anybody else hear Tears for Fears?
No... well, maybe after some really heavy drugs, then again... I can't imagine how they might get there from where they're sitting in that big chair.
Anybody else hear Tears for Fears?

as far as music goes, i like the 80's-ness. i liked this song. i was thinking of checking this band out soon because my friend likes them as well... so, good choice :)

with you there on D. Mode, but then that is a bit 80's isn't it? The other stuff I've heard from these guys is very reminiscent of U2...some pretty good comps there. So how come I've never heard of them coming to an arena near me?

Is it just me, or is this song kinda just "there"? Nothing terrible about it but nothing worth noting either.
Sting Called... he wants his song back
Am I the only one who thinks this feels very 80s? Not bad, though.

Ditto- That contract will have to wait. I also heard Sting, but more complex. Who are these guys?
This is an excellent album, I bought it soon as it hit the stores. Check out the first VAST album....it is one of my favorite CDs from the last 10 years.

This CD was worth every penny I paid for it...and I love just about every song on it!

That about sums it up.
Meh. Sounds too vague/dreamy to be poweful, and too strong to be ambient.
