Sunrise, sunrise
Looks like morning in your eyes
But the clock's held 9:15 for hours

Sunrise, sunrise
Couldn't tempt us if it tried
'Cause the afternoon's already come and gone

And I say
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
To you.

Surprise, surprise
Couldn't find it in your eyes
But I'm sure it's written all over my face

Surprise, surprise
Never something I could hide
When I see we made it through another day

Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
To you.

And now the night
Will throw its cover down
mmmmm, on me again
Ooooh, and if I'm right
It's the only way to bring me back

Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
To you.

Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
Hooooo, oooooo, oooooo, oooooo
To you.

Greatest song about sleeping in with your lover way into the afternoon, maybe on a workday, and you both don't care. Lovely.
Personally, I like this whole album.
Again, can't listen to Norah without having Barista flashbacks, serving a 100 people in 15 minutes with her cooing vocals in the background...

As sweat runs down my back, still gave it an 8. This one is quite the something!

EDIT I'm getting better, I'm feeling better, those memories are now nostalgic, rating is at 9 now
Been awhile since last playing?
I give Norah a 6 for this tune.
One of the greatest little songs ever. Lovely melody and such a simple but inventive, subtle arrangement, which all together suit the lyrics perfectly well. Less is certainly more, in this case. Strange it isn't played yet, when I type this.
I do not like ANY Norah Jones, but this song is lovely.
