I don't know about "all downhill," but I can say that when I was in college and this came out I was a stalwart LP collector, and I really enjoyed this song as the opening of "Supper Side" versus "Begin the Begin" as the opening of "Dinner Side."

That is without a doubt the last thing I expected to read here. I think I always played this album with a sense of anticipation for when it got 'round to this song. An absolute favorite from their whole catalog of songs, at least for me. I think you and your friends were missing out.
