There are so many great ocean and water songs that could be played together with this, but the strongest vibe I'm feelin right now after The Great Escape is the uncertain and insecure Out to Sea by Aarktica.  (If you hunt that one down, be careful of Ocean on the same album ... boy does that one hit different.)

So it is possible for someone to whisper into a microphone without the voice (what there is of it) being overwhelmed by the breathing. I'd rather they sang, though.

Yikes, that was a painful listen.

The dreary, amateurish effort of this track annoyed me so much I opened a browser, logged in and voted! {#Grumpy} This came out on an album released at the peak of his popularity, and he couldn't even be bothered to hire session musicians for it?!

A sucko barfo guide track rescued by an excellent vocal. This should be 15% faster performed by a real string quartet not just phoned in by Mr. Hall. Hell, the a cappella would have been better.

At least the following track was great!

It is likely not the case for you, but there seems to be a collective delusion among many people who post in the comments here at RP that every song ever written is somehow "borrowed" from Pink Floyd.

Well, it does take awhile to compose, produce and distribute an album, y'know ... Also, just a shot in the dark here, but if Moby is anything like me (we both have a 9/11 birthday), the grief took on an extra, personal shade. Having your birthday turned into a national day of mourning is kinda like losing a little bit of your identity. Hope that as the years wear on, you're able to listen to this with a different set of ears (but still your own!)

Pretty emotional for someone named apathy. ;) I think this is quite lovely. I really like the eerie harmony and the way it plays off the dual vocals. Nice.

Hmm, I don\'t know, why Moby is seen as such a great musician everytime... Well, his older stuff was ok, there he did what he can best - making electronic music. But since \"Play\" his music became very boring. Most of the songs are just sampled vocals and drums with some beginner like instrument play (strings, piano or guitar). If he did these songs with a real band, they would be much better, but now they sound something like very early tries of a beginner... :(
