Smooooth. L'epitome de chic. Monsieur, donnez-mois un pernod e un Gauloise, if it pleases you.  9 du jury di Nottingham, wishing we were on the rive gauche.
captivating
9->10.  This is so good for my ears.  Or whatever it was that RT/Lazarus used to say.
Considering the lead singer is from Tampa and Boston, she has a peculiar way of enunciating "do" and "you" in this song.
It's funny how the word "supply" can change something from diamonds to poop. :)

Well, Nic and Jean are both Paris born.
Never gets old.
sounds a lot like Madonna
Air can't make bad music! I was lucky enough to see them live on a beautiful summers evening a few years back, and they were magical.
The song is nice, but at this point I've listened too much of it...
This whole album is pretty good
This brings back thaf wonderful 60s vibe.works for me!

Pure bliss...

That's awesome.  What a great memory.
Interesting!
was this on CSI?

Flemish ? French ?
Wikipedia says French, just as the album cover:

Not the best of this album!

I concur...
one of the most remarkable tracks (together with La femme d'argent and Le voyage de Penelope) of one of the best album that I've ever owned in my life: Moon Safari.
One of the 40+ songs in my Chill Set playlist, almost all of which is from RP-introduced music. So, many thanks, B&R.
Love this track {#Sunny}
Could stand to be played less.
How on earth 'festa lenta' got in here?

Alright, while this is a good song, there are way better AIR songs. For starters, the first track off this album is terrific- "La femme d'argent."
Next off, IMO Le Voyage Dans La Lune, their most recent release is their best album by far.

Don't worry, there are over 25 other AIR tunes on the RP playlist, and they get played here as well.  Bill just happened to play this one at the time you wrote your comment.  "La Femme D'Argent" probably gets more airplay here than this number.

Yes I am down with that chill groove.. {#Yes}  {#Chillpill}  {#Yes}
Why don't I own any Air albums yet?  I need to remedy this.
So nice to hear this one!👍
Blech.  Bland, airy-fairy and kinda makes me queasy.  Literally.  Funny how music can have such an effect on the body!

Vinyl for me.

Most of the music I listen to was written, engineered, sequenced, etc. for vinyl.

Plus, the packaging was (is) great.

The surface noise is a part of it.

If I concentrate, I can hear the difference, but I've never really thought one was better than the other -- just a wee bit different. I'll take digital music any day.
My all time favorite summertrack. Love it!
Would have worn out the grooves on this back in the day had it been an album and not a CD.
the most beautiful song
So is that weird Wuh-wuh-wuhwa voice at the end done with a "talk box" ?

Not sure I like it.  I seem to remember hearing something like that when I had a fever of 105.

No you don't. I don't own a single piece of vinyl (and I used to be a DJ!)

While I can appreciate the difference between vinyl and digital I am not about to get into any argument - but let's just agree I have in-depth knowledge of high end systems.

Which leads me to say that I have spent a great deal of time and money creating a digital high end hi-fi system. I'll not bore you with the detail. . . but what I can say is that I can get a sound out of this album that will match (almost) ANY vinyl front end system out there.

So there. . . Nahhhh!

i use to keep a list but too many names of good music on this site, if you register you can rate the songs then check back to the list in 'your ratings' when you've got some free time. much easier :)

I simply copy and paste the information into a TextEdit file. Certainly there's an analog for PCs.

If you listen on a mobile device using the rp app, you can tunemark your favorite songs. Then select a tunemarked song to go straight to iTunes!

Nice to breath in some nice Air :)
Terrific song and wonderful after Spirit.
I really like Air (my wife loves them big time) and wonder why they didn't work with this singer more often.  But maybe that is a plus in terms of having different sounds.  But the vocals of the boys themselves don't usually appeal to me.
Just legendary. Still.
Hard to believe this record is 13 years old already. Seems not so long ago it was released.  And yet it also feels oddly timeless.  If it's not a perfect 10, it is certainly close.
alright!  2 songs from Moon Safari in one day — a true day in Paradise for me!!  {#Music}
Wow u guys r making my day with another one of my favorite all time cd's! Way to go
SWEET!
Temp outside is in high 60s and sunny, windows opened letting the house air out, running around cleaning house with drink in hand and this song just LOUD as can be after working two weeks of 90 plus hours.
Days like this are just wonderful!!!!
Funny how this odd little tune has crept into the pantheon and become a modern classic. Nice.
Nice tune, nice album. You can see where Zero 7 got their style!

All I need is a little sign
To get behind this sun
And cast this weight of mine
All I need is the place to find
And there I'll celebrate
