He was 26 when he died. Such beautiful music from a fragile soul who was too short lived. You can't call such creativity a waste when, like me, you have never produced anything near perfection.

I discovered Nick Drake on Radio Paradise and he has become one of my favorite artists. Ended up acquiring the massive box set of his recordings and play the hell out of it.

I was very pleasantly surprised to wake up this morning to this song. Absolutely beautiful, I was stunned to hear it as normally I awaken to static on KZFR after having recorded Barbara Manning's "Radio Detour" the previous night. Is this a new thing? And is this station 24/7? Either way, wow, wow, wow.
Every Nick Drake song is excellent. All songs on Pink Moon are 10's. The only problem with the album is its length.

I watched all the youtube videos of his unmade documentary.Very interesting interviews with friends and family.Apparently,he wasn't famous during his time because his music was "not of that era",and his live performances were not as good as his recordings.It depressed him quite a bit.What a talent!

I said it about another Nick Drake track on RP. He captures a very English melancholy. It's the angst of a repressed 1950s Middle-England upbringing, lost in literature and reverie, gazing out onto the damp English countryside on a typically grey day.
It's stunning how fresh this sounds 37 years later.

Nick's voice and the instrument selection (strings) ring out like no other. The lyrics are unique, and I find that when a Nick Drake tune comes on . . . it is distinctly different, causing pause in my day. I like it
