I just got out of the shower and singing, and could have been harmonizing to this song. If I do say so myself. 

I love the easy, laid-back, slightly lazy drumming -- perfect. Looks like it's Carla Azar, who I saw live with Autolux many years ago, and she was fantastic. She's also played quite a bit more recently with Jack White and many others.

the production is thanks to T-bone Burnett. This song is heaven to me.

This song has been on RP forever (seem to recall hearing it back in the early naughts...) and it's really grown on me. Love the simple arrangement and vocals.

Fleetwood Mac-ish

As cheesy as it sounds, I really like hearing the themesongs from various TV shows every now and again.  I remember when BSG came through, there's a little bit of "Aww, I remember how much I enjoyed hearing that..."  This makes me feel the same way.  Ok, it's embarassing to admit that I both like hearing old TV show theme songs and admit that I watched the Gilmore Girls...  ;)

Where are the Lorelais now?

I may be one of 20 people in the universe that has followed Sam from way back, from when she was a very mainstream Christian pop singer named Leslie (think slightly edgier version of Amy Grant) straight through to now. Then (1983?), I was a pretty straight-laced 14 yo fundie in small-town Indiana. Now, a less straight-laced 37 yo Episcopal. Probably oversimplifying to say that my journey paralleled hers, but there's some truth to it. The only piece of her Christian recording career worth checking out is "The Turning," her first T-Bone album, and last album before leaving that industry . . .

I am all for people candidly expressing opinions, and this is quite a nice tune, IMHO. What I am not for, is people disrespecting each other for their opinions. Opinions are opinions, not reflections of character.

Everybody is entitled on his/her own opinion. If someone doesn't like this quite nice tune, he/she stand in his/her right to use the puke icon. I think this is enjoyable music, but I'm very glad there are numerous other songs where I use the puke image not enough as it is.

Whenever I hear the opening bars of this one I think it's a Niel Young song. In fact its got a N.Y. flavour throughout. I hope he's getting a cut of the action.

Another great track from Sam Phillips. She really knows how to set a mood, musically. First heard \"Fan Dance\" on RP and ran out to get the CD, and have been a big Sam Phillips fan ever since.

This was very nice. Evocative, as Sam is wont to be. Nancy Heredia might also like to hear What Do I Do from The Indescribable Wow. Luscious, aching beauty.
