I am falling
Drifting, trapped inside the story
Am I chained to the moon?
Will the sun take over in the morning?

Filling my lungs with sky
What can I see from here
The beauty had nowhere to hide
And nothing to fear

I'm kicking against the tide
That pulls me away from here
The future is nowhere to hide
But something to fear

I am falling
Drifting, trapped inside the story
Am I chained to the moon?
Will the sun take over in the morning?

The dream demands, the magic is planned
Climb the sky and tell the story
Hand over hand, eyes on the moon
The sun takes over in the morning

I'm killing my sense of time
It told me I moved too slow
Taking what's left of my pride
Letting it go

Filling my lungs with sky
I never know what this means
Words of a shadow behind
Is kept in between

I am falling
Drifting, trapped inside the story
And am I chained to the moon?
Will the sun take over in the morning?

The dream demands, the magic is planned
Climb the sky and tell the story
Hand over hand, eyes on the moon
The sun takes over in the morning

I am falling
The sun takes over in the morning
And am I chained to the moon?
Will the sun take over in the morning?

I am falling
I am falling
I am falling
I am falling

The chorus sounds a little like "The grabbing hands grab all they can, all for themselves after all"

i hear it too! "everything counts in large amounts"  (or is it small amounts?)
Also 7 -> 8.

Love Folk Implosion.
7 --==>> 8.

Positive vibes at the right time.

if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything... This is ok, like the guitar 🎸 and voices 👌

& the kick drum sound!
Sounds exactly like what REM might sound like in the late 1980s if Michael Stipe wasn't doing all the lead vocals.
Good Tune!  Please play "Natural One"! Thank You!  PS: great kick drum sound!

My thoughts exactly! Once you hear it you can't unhear it.

I was going to say the same thing!!!!

And his name is... Gary Lightbody.
Same band that produced "Natural One"... I like this song far better.
Still holds up.
JUST THE RIGHT KIND of twangy goodness between intriguing verses! Amazing guitars, vocals, harmonies, percussion — alive.

I knew that guy, he had some good stories to tell.  Just don't succumb to his 'do me a favor' requests.
Catchy :)

Might as well buy it so I can listen to it later !
I have come to the conclusion that if Manbird hates it, I am going to love it.
Nice!
Love this album!!

Me too!  {#Smile}
If you don't own a copy of this CD, it's a must have. Some of Lou's best work.
I've never heard of them but I think I like them.

Following The Eels again tonight...
Hmm, it seems that our intrepid RP host consistently plays this song following the Eels... highly significant!!

I like that line. It's evocative, doesn't have to be entirely accurate.

That intro was brutal. I was reaching for a 2 rating, and then it went away. Now I don't know what to do.

Wow. Was dubious given the band name (not a big folkie, myself), but this is really cool. Kinda bluesy and something else too. Nice call.
blah blah blah woot!

did i hear right that one of these guys was in sebadoh? or am i thinking of another band?
You heard right -- Lou Barlow. Great bands, both :)
With a touch of Chris Rea. Not bad.

Am I the only person who hears shades of the Moody Blues in this song? Although I've heard this song a few times, today was the first time I noticed the name of the artists performing it.
a nice way to start out my tuesday workday. :)
Pure pop goodness.

Those that are new to Folk Implosion should check out some of there earlier stuff. There\'s some cool stuff by them on the KIDS soundtrack.
