I don't ever wanna see you cryin'
And I don't ever wanna see you blue
Ohh no
All I ever wanted to do was know you
And maybe hope you could know me too
Well I don't ever wanna make you sorry
For anything you've ever said or done
Ohhh no
All I ever wanted to do was love you
And maybe hope you could love me too

And its all right baby
I'm in love with you
And its all riiight
I would never make you blue
Or try to play with you

I don't ever wanna spoil your party babe
Or tell you where to go or what to do
Oh no
All I ever wanted to do was know you
And maybe hope you could know me too

And its all right baby
I'm in love with you
And its all right yeah
I would never make you blue
Or try to play with you

Well I don't ever wanna spoil your party babe
Or tell you where to go or what to do
OHH NO
All I ever wanted to do was love you
And maybe hope you could love me too

Not the zippiest or trippiest song from the psychedelic scene in late '60s San Fran, but it's fun. Sort of a manlier version of the Dead. I wish they sounded a bit less restrained and careful...perhaps they were keeping it toned down for FM radio and the studio execs.
For a second there I thought this was Beck...
Or maybe Beck's a time traveler...?
I really like Quicksilver, and I'm glad they had a chance to record their songs for us to enjoy.

But I have to wonder if they'd even get noticed by today's record companies.
San Fran freaks and geeks
Never heard this before, but thanks for introducing me to a band that was apparently a big part of the San Francisco sound of that era....
