This is my absolute favorite comment to a song on RP, ever. I think of it every time I hear this song, be it on RP or not.

I miss trekhead.

Every. Time.
Hello Alanna and William. It´s interesting what kind of german tracks you play. I never heard of RJD2 before i listenened here. I have a wish for a other longtime sucessful german band called "Element of Crime" One of my favourite songs is "Wenn der Winter kommt". Check it on spotify or youtube please.

There is certainly a Michel Fugain et le Big Bazar vibe in that section.

GREAT TUNE!! I had never heard of him prior to RP. Now, the more I hear it, the more I like it! Thanx RP!
Excellent!!
sehr gut!
Nice artistic view of covid virus on this album cover 😂
Reminds me of portal for some reason, might have been the radios

Istanbul is my home town :):)
If you happen to like ethnical kinds of music, I can recommend you a nice "Istanbul band" Ayyuka - Sömetr (Album). Give it a try.
mind blown

This screams out for "Istanbul not Constantinople" from They Might Be Giants to follow.

Well this is pretty cool....
Yeah!!!, where are you gonna find a latin beat, in who knows what language singing about Istanbul?
Love that fat trombone line.
Aw hells yes!! {#Dance}
its a bit goofy... that kind of motorized/off beat kilter thing gets either disconcerting or annoying...

listening to this with headphones is like when the wind stops blowing in Chicago. I feel like my head is sling shotting forward when the music stops and restarts. I like it. Woke me up.
Groovy.  Not sure if I like it, but groovy just the same...
I can feel my mullet growing back!

That's cause it's not english and the websites are wrong, the samples are sophy - un amor original and cora - istanbul and one of them is in german

the lyrics are

istanbul
...denn schön nach...
istanbul
...doch weit und...
ich sah nur deine braunen...
...denn schön nach...
istanbul
...doch weit und...

da sah ich deine braunen augen
da sah ich deine braunen augen

istanbul
...denn schön nach...
istanbul
...doch weit und...
ich sah nur deine braunen...
...denn schön nach...
istanbul
...doch weit und...

da sah ich deine braunen augen
ich sah nur deine braunen augen

A little beyond the extent of my eclecticism.  0.00001

It actually sounds like out of the My Neighbor Totoro soundtrack .....
Dopeness! This should be on a sound track to a heist movie, or something. 8 for now.
Really catchy. I'm buying from this guy! Loved it.
Yum - tastes like CAKE! ^ | (Only emoticon I could find that resembles a trumpet)

impressive, but it's german, not english they're singing...:)
Is the band name supposed to be a pun on R2D2? Even the cameras (?) on the cover remind me somewhat of R2D2's eyes
Damn can these guys spin.
new to me, but I think I like it.

wow, this one stopped me in my tracks. I'm diggin' it. It's got a great 70's crime movie feel.
i'm usually a fan of rjd2, but this track is just cheesy and annoying (on first listen, at least).
