Ha! When this came on I had to check right away to see if it was King Bob. Obviously a few others had the same thought.  I love the Queen's version!

True enough, but this unholy amalgam brewed for the tourist trade isn't it. Some original Little Nathan or Zachary Richard, however, would provide a more accurate ear exam for zydeco tolerance.

Update - the impact of the horrific oil spill is less than originally thought, and ecological recovery is (for the most part) occurring faster than projected. Didn't have to be that way. A real miracle and lesson there.

Sometimes the real stuff is a bit hard on the ears. Love the cajun accordion on this, but I could do without yer woman's voice. Sacrilege I know, but I'll take Karen Carpenter's version :)

Cool.  The song's not dead!!  I used to hear the old versions of this from the 50s when my step dad DJ'ed at an oldies station.  Nice beat.  You can sure hear this as the origin of James McMurtry's Choctaw Bingo.
