Well they're shiny!
I guess if you lose a lugnut, they charge $8 for one. Mine were apparently all rounded off by the previous owner so they had to resort to Extreme Measures, so I needed 20. But if you buy a set of 20 the price drops quite a bit, apparently. So we're waiting on a ruling...

I love Sea Change. Probably my favorite Beck album.
I was looking for stuff to get on this Superbowl Sale ( i think i buy stuff every year on this sale at SS). I looked up some people's fave Beck albums and Sea Change was almost always No 1.

Bought it yesterday. From my favorite local artist,
Christine Ritchie . I saw one of her paintings about 10 years ago at a showing which blew me away. Price tag was around $200 and i just couldn't swing it. I met her a couple months ago and asked her about that painting, which was titled "What Do We Know?" She said she still had it and we discussed price. She also told me that she painted it after her dad passed away. So now, it made that painting even more special to me. But a couple days later i get a note from her saying she forgot that it was sold. That particular painting was one of a series of two. She offered to sell me the other one. So i dropped by her place yesterday to buy the painting but as she showed some of her other paintings, well the one pictured below caught my eye. So i bought that one instead.
If you visit her website, click on Art gallery and you'll see the painting, first on the right.

This kit was ridiculously easy to install myself. I can just imagine what a Ford dealer would have charged me. Before finding this online,my other option was to try the Pick N' Pull 20 miles away, but I could never find the time (or the inclination) to mess around there.

I just blew the $300 I was saving to get tags and insurance for my car on a refurbished laptop. I figure since I really can't afford to drive (and there's my recent physical impediments) and since I'm spending so much time away from home, I might as well get one. I just hope I don't drop it. Or spill bong water on it... or any other fluids that cause blue-smoke events. (knock on wood)
No worries, I don't smoke a bong.

Flashlight/lantern/headlamp technology has made astounding leaps in the last few years. Great stuff.
