Broken meanings
Time is fleeting
See what it brings
Hellos, goodbyes, a thousand midnights
Lost in sleepless lullabies
Heaven's dreaming
Thoughtless thoughts, my friends
We know we'll be ghosts again
Sundays shining
Silver linings
Weightless hours
All my flowers
A place to hide the tears that you cried
Everybody says goodbye
Faith is sleeping
Lovers in the end
Whisper we'll be ghosts again
Heaven's dreaming
Thoughtless thoughts, my friends
We know we'll be ghosts again
Faith is sleeping
Lovers in the end
Whisper we'll be ghosts again
Here it shows the album as "Ghosts Again"
The album art is that of Memento Mori.
I did not know that. Thank you for providing some context. My comment was sort of a joke (and a call-back to my mis-spent youth) but I think your interpretation of that line is right on the money.
Don't think I didn't catch that Rocky Horror reference, Depeche Mode.
I'm not sure that's their reference though as the album is titled 'Memento Mori'. Which you may know is Latin for "remember that you die" The "time is fleeting" clearly plays into someone that recognizes that their sand in the glass is quickly passing through.
Radio Paradise is good for finding new music. It also brings you music from bands you wouldn’t usually listen to because you’ve already decided you don’t like them. Depeche Mode is like that for me. However, I’m loving this track. Thank you, Radio Paradise!
Same here, mostly - I'm a fan of SOME of their tunes, but this newer DM track is sounding great...rated an 8.
Long Live RP and new music from 40+ year old bands!

i missed it. can you share?
I'm literally dancin in the street in Brooklyn,
I'm 25 again.
Thankfully. They still sound like tried & true Depeche Mode !
Usually enjoy their music, but this song just seems a little thin to me.
Amazing how some of these 80s icons (DM, TFF) can manage to still sound fresh some 40 years later. I mean, in the day, you'd never would have expected that. They seemed more likely to be tied to an era, rather than enduring spirits.
Bravo guys...
Of all the band's to endure, I would never thought DM would survive the road. it's nice to hear them again as fresh as they were in the 80's.
Bravo guys...
Been watching this on Youtube for a few days now. Great video.
Yes, cool video...but holy moly...we all got old. How did that happen?
Amazing!
I agree!
I never appreciated or even liked this band- for decades. Always thought they were a lightweight Brit/ synth pop band. But this is fantastic, new outlook! Thanks RP.
You deserve to listen to Violator.
