Went and saw Ben and Ian 3 nights ago... talented, and so many great tunes!
Seeing them in NYC soon, can't wait!
This song gave me definite "Monkee" vibes.

Love (and miss!) this band. Seen them a couple of times at the Vic Theater in Chicago. Rocking good! One of those WXRT bands that the station sadly doesn't play much anymore. Haven't heard of any new album coming soon. Hope they haven't called it quits.

That said, I find this song terrible.

agreed, deepwood.  i miss this band too and was probably at those shows with you.  Love WXRT...RIP Lin Brehmer.

good tune!
Well it has been 9 years since they have released any music, so I guess I could go ahead and consider this band officially over.  Too bad, they had a great thing going.

LOVE GOMEZ - UNDER RATED BAND!
Never noticed how corny this is.
LOOK......I am GOMEZ,  ok?  That's who I am.   What do you want.....Jewels?  Gold?   Options?
I am a very  wealthy band........a a very powerful band........a very Extravagant BAND!
Still have a little ringing in my ears from standing too close to the speakers at their concert on this tour.
Woo, haven't heard this number in a while, a nice pick-me-up!
boy does time fly----I just realized this is from 2011.  They should be due for a new one soon.   I did not like this last one very much compared to their others.

Agreed. A little bubble-gum goes a long way in my book...
''Gomez, je t'aime, mon amour, mon cher''

''Gasp...Morticia, that's French!'

ugh. so, just...needle in the ear. But chipper. An overly chipper needle in the ear.

Gomez is one of the most underestimated bands in the world delivering high quality material right from the start. Good to see that his song is being picked up and appreciated...

What a rockin' set! RP is keeping me sane while I look for a job...in this suck-y economy...with a disability. I have vowed that I am making a hefty donation once I have a solid, full-time job again.

Given my current situation (and the fact that I *may* end up in my parents' basement again), I am especially tickled by this song.

Thank you, Bill, for lifting my spirits! {#Daisy}

First - hang in there, errantpenny! You've got optimism, and that will help a LOT.

Second - I love this song.  Toe-tapping, chair-dancing stuff.  I have to get some Gomez into my library one of these days! {#Dancingbanana}

I'm thinking a well-played Rackett:

? I think Spoon is more hard-edged, atonal. This is pretty poppy!

Contrabass sax would be amazing with this. Good call!

That's the coolest and most simply elegant album art cover I've seen in a long while. I really miss the art and artistry of album covers back when vinyl ruled the music industry.
That Ian Ball's voice and style is very distinctive - love the fact that 3 members of the band sing and all 4 write - keeps it lively!  Gomez rocks!

Gomez are Dr. Seuss fans! {#Dancingbanana_2}

"Oh the places you'll go!"
Saw these guys do this on Letterman the other night...they certainly are still GOOD and deserve more exposure!  Play the new stuff more, please!

Pretty ordinary for a Gomez track.  Truly shocked as i was insulting this song in my head I did not expect to find Gomez as the band.  Way to peppy for me.
New singer?
This is unbelievably catchy.
I love this new album. Good stuff end to end.
Really digging this new album. This track especially.
Sounds good to me... I would like some more options?

2nd! Here's hoping this album is better than the prior couple of albums and is up to par with "In Our Gun".
...light and refreshing...
