When I call you up
Your line's engaged
I have had enough
So act your age
We have lost the time
That was so hard to find
And I will lose my mind
If you won't see me
(You won't see me)
You won't see me
(You won't see me)

I don't know why you (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
Should want to hide (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
But I can't get through (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
My hands are tied (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
I won't want to stay (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
I don't have much to say (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
But I'd get turned away (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
And you won't see me
(You won't see me)
You won't see me
(You won't see me)

Time after time
You refuse to even listen
I wouldn't mind
If I knew what I was missing (No, I wouldn't, no, I wouldn't)

Though the days are few (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
They're filled with tears (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
And since I lost you (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
It feels like years (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
Yes, it seems so long (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
Girl, since you've been gone (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
And I just can' go on (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
If you won't see me
(You won't see me)
You won't see me
(You won't see me)

Time after time
You refuse to even listen
I wouldn't mind
If I knew what I was missing (No, I wouldn't, no, I wouldn't)

Though the days are few (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)

(La la-la)

(La la-la)
Girl, since you've been gone (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
And I just can' go on (Ooh-ooh)
(La la-la)
If you won't see me
(You won't see me)
You won't see me
(You won't see me)

Hey! Ah-ah! Yeah, yeah! Woah, woah.
(Ooh-ooh la la-la)
(Ooh-ooh la la-la)
(Ooh-ooh la la-la)

C'mon man!

THIS hasn't been played for SIX years!!

WTH Bill?!

I love just about everything the Beatles ever did, but one song has to be my favorite. Hard to pick it, impossible to say why, but this one is it.

Ah, Rubber Soul - this is where they started to pull ahead of everyone else and redefined music forever. Just simply wonderful. Listen to anything else from 1965 and you'll be amazed at the comparison with this album. I was born in the 70's, so that's not nostalgia talking!
From another '70s baby: Word.

I bet the stereo separation of putting all the main vocals on the right was pretty clever at the time. Kinda annoying I think, though.
I read somewhere once it was an artifact of the recording process, and that it didn't really matter because the record would be played on a mono radio station. Remember too, that records used to come in both mono and stereo versions. We're seeing a lot of these artifacts now because of mixing the original master tapes into stereo CDs.

Is there anyway to give this a 15.

Hope I have the chronology right there. Rubber Soul was the album before Revolver, right?
Yep, Rubber Soul was '65 and Revolver was '66 - their first true psychedelic album.
I don't even remember when -- it feels like years.
Wouldn't mind hearing more from this album. What about Michelle? The best Beatles "pop" album before they went "deep" with Revolver. Hope I have the chronology right there. Rubber Soul was the album before Revolver, right?
