Sometimes I fall away like a setting sun
Well, I swim, I surf, but I never drown
Well, everybody says they love me but I don't know why
I watch you walk like a rhythm train
I love the way you kiss, I just can't stand the pain
Well, I believe in truth but sometimes I lie
Well, everybody says they love me but I don't know why
Yeah, I don't know why
Ooh, I don't know why
Yeah, I don't know why
Ooh, I don't know why
Well, I walk, I crawl, but I never run
Sometimes I fall away like a setting sun
Well, I believe in truth but sometimes I lie
Well, everybody says they love me but I don't know why
Yeah, I don't know why
Ooh, I don't know why

What a guy. He is so down-to-earth, personable, likeable, etc. etc. etc. Can't help but love him.

At the current age, the second bowl and diggin' this will have to suffice.
So...intoxication math then? 3 beers equals 2 bowls....I can dig it!
I'm at a 7 and might go to an 8 with a bowl or 3 in me....Long Live RP!!

Heck no, tix available through TXMstr and prebooking required.
I'll bring the mop and bucket.
Good to see we're in such experienced hands. I've lost touch with this kind of entertainment, so tell me: do you plan on streaming an MMA match or an orgy? Or does one format segue into the other these days?
Apologies to Mr. Musselwhite.
If a three-way's gonna break out, do warn the rest of us so we can hide...

Who are the players, pray tell? The drumming in particular is sublime.
Musselwhite of course on harp; Charlie Sexton - guitar; George Reiff - bass; Michael Jerome - drums.
For my money Musselwhite is one of the two dirtiest harp players around; the other of course was the late Paul Butterfield.

PSD, .....OR GET OVER IT
I like you better when you walk away
yep
his name translated into english is alexander selected
My vote for that category would be for any Bob Dylan song.
PSD, .....OR GET OVER IT
"All time long-term overplayed"
goes to
"Charlie Musselwhite - Everybody Loves Me".
(And I like blues, to the extent that matters here.)

Nope. Don't let that stop you though.
Stonking last few hours!
What? You didn't? She wanted WHAT? Well, geez - I guess saving Paradise a person at a time could be a lot of fun. Thanks to both of you for all the great music I really can't afford but buy anyway. You are the best "bad influence" I've ever had.

Amen to that.

It's more like the other way around: Alejandro Escovedo first released this song in 1999, and Charlie Musselwhite did so in 2004. Tom Waits released Bone Machine in 1992.
Musselwhite has recorded with Tom Waits on more than one occasion as well.
Suppose this is what's recorded !? I don't like it though,still a good tune !

cool
Thx for the song.

boring
ditto
I figure that it is sometimes important to spread good music around.
Arf!
Love that lyric, so evocative, the easy sway around the curvy bends, phew!

There are so many cool things about this station. One of my favorites is waiting breathlessly for the next song, sure that it'll be the killer segue you were thinking of. More often than not, BillG comes up with something better than what you were anticipating.
