A light snow is falling on London
All sign of the living has gone
The last train pulls into the station
And no-one gets off and no-one gets on

Don't hate me
I'm not special like you
I'm tired and I'm so alone

One light burns in a window
It guides all the shadows below
Inside the ghost of a parting
And no-one is left, just the cigarette smoke

Don't hate me
I'm not special like you
I'm tired and I'm so alone
Don't fight me
I know you'll never care
Can I call you on the telephone, now and then?

Don't hate me
I'm not special like you
I'm tired and I'm so alone
Don't fight me
I know you'll never care
Can I call you on the telephone, now and then?

During the last 15 or so years that I have been an an RP listener, Porcupine Tree is probably the most remarkable introduction I've had. There have been many, but PT has just been sublime. Thank you.

so agree with you!

hadn't heard this one before. They have a new album coming out in June 2022 and touring Europe in 22.
New to me PT.  Like all the PT I've heard and this is no exception.
Rating an 8

Love the album Stupid Dream and still continue to play it often.

If you enjoy Don't Hate Me from Stupid Dream then you may enjoy Don't Hate Me where Ninet Tyeb and Steven Wilson share vocals on Steven Wilson's 4 and a half extended play (EP) released in 2016.

Ninet Tyeb's singing is fabulous.  The 2016 version is just as or perhaps more jazzier.

Ninet Tayeb is, indeed, an extraordinary vocalist.

I love Porcupine Tree.  If they were a meal, their music would be considered sumptuous.
