Celia, you're breaking my heart,
You're shaking my confidence daily.
Oh Cecilia, I'm down on my knees,
I'm begging you please to come home.
Celia, you're breaking my heart,
You're shaking my confidence daily.
Oh Cecilia, I'm down on my knees,
I'm begging you please to come home.
Come on home.
Making love in the afternoon with Cecilia
Up in my bedroom,
I got up to wash my face
When I come back to bed,
Someone's taken my place.
Celia, you're breaking my heart,
You're shaking my confidence daily.
Oh Cecilia, I'm down on my knees,
I'm begging you please to come home.
Jubilation,
She loves me again,
I fall on the floor and I laughing.
Jubilation,
She loves me again,
I fall on the floor and I laughing.
You're shaking my confidence daily.
Oh Cecilia, I'm down on my knees,
I'm begging you please to come home.

I can't believe I've never posted this, but my mother (whose name was close to Cecilia) loved this song.

My mum (now 79) played this album over and over again when she got it. Think we all new the words to all the songs frontwards and backwards lol

I always assumed this was a song to St Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians.

Fabulous S&G thingy
Everyone knows the lyrics — but why no lyrics here?
What a fabulous sing along song and a fun and innovative arrangement!

not their best. sorry
This should only be acceptable on St Cecilia's day. It sticks in the brain too much to be played more often than that.
I have always liked this song, but not really giving it too much thought. Now my wife's name is Cecilia and everything changed.

What a strange moustache Art Garfunkel is sporting!

I remember loving this song as a kid. Some of the lyrics sure were titillating to my young mind.

Man, I think that would shake my confidence too.
Nice to hear one that made the "keeper" portion of an ancient Top 40. (hope that makes sense.)
Loved it then, love it still. Such a happy sounding song.
