Indeed. Just saw them perform the other day and they still rock like they did in the 80's. And all but one original member remains. They deserve a lot more respect than they get.
A great band to see live if you get the chance. Very tight and very entertaining.
A solid 9. It's always been.
Edit:
Just updated to 10 after reading hater comments. :)
Got to see them a few years back in a 300 seat club, they were playing a big venue the next night (5000 seats), one of the best shows I had ever seen, of course standing 3 feet from the stage tainted my opinion.
This is good. But I like Bonnie Raitts version much better
I really thought this was a tribute to Michael Barratt.

 Troll.
You're entitled to your opinion - but oddly, so is everybody else.

Excellent!

I respect Los Lobos, but sometimes they sound like they should be playing at some kid's backyard birthday party.

Or in front of the White House
love their style and their sound. It's a good change of style every now and then. Like them when I'm stoned. Gets me moving

Thanks for still playing this overlooked L.L. album.

33 years

Just saw these guys in July at the OC County Fair in Southern California.  It was a modest venue, but what a fun show.

They're from Southern California and they were playing to an audience that was packed with fans.  People were dancing and knew every word - and the band sent all that love right back.

A definite treat.

Dumb lyrics, music not that interesting. They've done better.

Just don't like anything they do really.
Better than the umpteenth other covers I've heard of this.

To be fair, would you expect a song titled "Shakin' Shakin' Shakes" to have profoundly intellectual lyrics?

This is workin for me right now...{#Dancingbanana_2}
I heard Bonnie Raitt doing this earlier today

A most versatile band. Birthday parties, major venues, heads of state. We can even pitch them to do a super rockin' en Espanol La Bamba to Trump's "I'm outta here going back to my yuge casino" farewell gtfo party.

have Tim Kaine shoutin' out lead vocals!!!
Guitars are great !

some folks just don't like rock-n-roll, that's why TV was invented

6.6? It's easily an 8/9

Outstanding use of guitars playing off one-another....  Only a 6.6?  C'mon people!! {#Clap}
yay, rockabilly...

Nice to hear.  This was my first introduction to Los Lobos back in the day.  Thanks for the memories!!

Mine too. It actually turned me off the band until I heard the amazing Kiko. I could barely believe it was the same band.
Los Lobos have a lot of great songs. This ain't one of them.

The guitar at the end is nice, though.
That song doesn't rock or shake enough.  {#Good-vibes}
Downrated this from 4 to a 2. This song really gets on my nerves.

That's one birthday party I wouldn't mind going to.

Maybe you should go hide under a rock for that amount of time then? Perhaps we don't need an additional 7 years of your 'snarky' comments. Unlike you, apparently, I suspect that many of us - me for sure - don't need any additional negativity in our days. There is already more than enough to go around as it is. I suppose, though, that you think you are helping us idiots see the truth. If so, it didn't work - I'm still an idiot.

 Easy buddy...

The unmistakable bluesy jangly sound of a Cesar Rosas song. I'm a Hidalgo/Perez man myself, but anything Los Lobos is good music to my ears.
Nice to hear.  This was my first introduction to Los Lobos back in the day.  Thanks for the memories!!

Is it really possible this went 7 years between plays?

Could do with another 7 as well...

This one'd definitely get me on my feet! I love Los Lobos more and more all the time. {#Dancingbanana}
For some reasons, I'm hearing shades of "Wake Up, Little Susie" (guitar) in this...
It took an earthquake to shake this one loose

This song's a lot of fun if you're down front at the concert...
It never ceases to amaze me that songs get such a wide range of ratings so early. At this point there are only nine ratings and there is already a "2" and a "9". It seems that most songs out there with at least 25+ ratings have got a "1" and a "10". different strokes...
