What has THIS got to do with Rock and Roll?????

Yep. Still a 9.
7 (ie my standard 'I'd like to hear this on my Favorites') in the office
Good headphones, as loud as I want at home = 8, verging on a 9!

Why do I love it so much. 8/10
I was surprised, though delighted to hear this amazing pair on the Rock Mix. But since Gabriela head-bangs through many of her performances, I shouldn't be surprised.
More Rodrigo y Gabriela please Bill!

Sadly rating can't get higher then 10
Dang, but I'll bet they are spectacular live.
Wow, never thought to hear them on this channel! Very nice! But, as Mike wrote, add the LIVE version!
Also really good mastering quality

Wow! Wes Wlenga's Awa Awa, into Rusted Root's Ecstasy, into this wonderful piece of music . . I'm twirling around my office like a whirling dervish!
NICE!!! I never heard of them before. Thank You RP!
Incredibly talented couple. The percussive beat has me banging my heels while playing electric guitar. Great aerobic exercise.
What a great segue from Rusted Root Ecstasy
I believe that she's over her carpal tunnel syndrome problem now, and they are back on the road.

It's funny, I like instrumental guitar stuff, but only when it's not a cover, or I don't know it.
Ahem, I have seen it noted elsewhere that perhaps they should be called Gabriella Y Rodrigo...
I love what the artist did with the reptile's(?) eye!
I love acoustic guitar, these guys are technically brilliant, yet I get bored very quickly by their music. Makes no sense to me.
To date, this is still my favorite piece from them. Great stuff overall, and most enjoyable to experience live.

It's got a good beat, but I'm not sure I could dance to it!!!
Ah, yes! It has finally been long enough since I last heard this that I can once again enjoy it.
Thank you, Bill, for the superb job you do; curating the tunes to bring a smile to my ears.

God, how I love this duo! And how I'd love to see them live. Hope they're not shut out of the USA. Again. :-|
Saw this one while listening to the track. Perfect fit.
Not worth all those fervent and sadly wasted guitar strums.....

Love it as I always have since first listen with the added bonus that these guys are one of those bands where once you see them all the tracks sound even better for some reason like a little piece of the gig is stuck in your head and pops out each time you hear them.
Outstanding!
Excelente tema!

Did anyone ever see them play this live on Letterman? Paul Shaffer was shaking his head after watching Gabriela play guitar and play percussion at the same time. This clip does not have Shaffer reacting. But I have seen one with it.

often called roach stomping music, that may or may not be, but i like it. then again i love gypsy kings and any guitar virtuosity you have. there is an amazing youtube of tommy emmanuelle covering mason williams' classical gas which is also a little easier on the roaches. but i sense we are in a creepy crawly set so stomp on. Yeeehaaa!
You know, some songs you feel like you kind of respect the artist's musicianship despite not liking their music - this is one of those times.
I listen to RP a lot, and have been introduced to many excellent groups that I had not heard before, but RYG is may favorite find from this station.

They are excellent musicians, and they annoy me a lot.
Even so, they do do their genre very well, it must be admitted.
Very cruel is right. One of my definitions of hell is a 5 hour concert of Mariah Carey accompanied by Kenny G. A Lady Gaga-Michael Bolton duet. Shit like that.

Don't know how I feel about the song, but as someone who doesn't play any instruments, their playing is visually stunning.

HORRIBLE!
This is brilliant. Love it.
Played too much!
And this time on Peter Gabriel's Rhythm of the Heat! Apparently this is the ultimate bridge tune.
Absolutely brilliant follow on the Rock-A-Teens!

This will be added to my 'cooking mix' when preparing those scrumptious meals that require a bottle of wine and an afternoon of hanging out with family and friends. This will be perfect for the slicing and dicing portion of the preparation. Just sayin'.
