I recommend opening the mouth during singing. It really does help with the articulation.
Edit: I really like the singer's expressive way of singing. However, his voice sounds like the lips were stitched together for the performance, probably due to an error in production or mixing. As we are accustomed to notice the tiniest changes in human voices, this unfortunately means that I cannot enjoy listening to this song. What a shame!

I noticed annoying distortion in the vocal as well. And I'm listening at 320kbps on Bose QC-35 headphones at moderate volume.
This album cover is pure marketing. But I really feel they made a mistake in their choice. In marketing, it's called a hook or pattern interrupt. Even though it does get your attention, it doesn't match their music.

They don't care about negative comments. They live in Iceland. A place where bent bankers get jailed instead of rewarded. Happiest place on earth apparently.
