Haven't heard much electronica on RP, but love that this creatively structured song is on here.  Long live Radio Paradise!  Keep ecclecticizing (yes, that's a word).

Love this! Saw Deadmau5 at the 2010 Olympics celebrations in Vancouver. First real introduction to DJs.  Amazing show.  I'm totally good with more Electronic/DJ/Dance/Trance stuff on RP!
Time to get up!

To each her own, different strokes, takes all kinds etc. Rock on.

To me you sound like someone who just watched an amazing drum solo and said "I can do that" before slapping your hands on your thighs several times and saying "see, the exact same thing!"
Good name. One can only hope ...
Working on a spreadsheet.  Am aware of electronica bumpa-bumpa in the background.  Am puzzled in passing.  Minutes pass...this seems...repetitive.  After what seems like an hour...OMG WHAT *IS* THIS?? Open my browser window for the express purpose of hitting the "skip" button...

I agree. And I gave it a 4!
I LOVE Deadmau5!
The opening is the best part. It owes a debt of gratitude to Jean Michel Jarre
NO POUNDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like how the top comments on controversial songs are always the just best responses to other people not liking the song

what beat?
That is just so bad. Everything from Scooter (Eurotrash) is better than this. Get over it, Americans, this is by far the worst electronic music ever.
All that's missing is a surgically-enhanced 'entertainer' spinning around a pole.

Agreed
Interesting tune
As soon as this tune came on I headed immediately to the comments section.  I figured a few heads would be exploding.  Kinda reminds me of the "death before disco" days.  Looks like comments are pretty equally split, so Bill must be doing something right, keeping' it eclectic!

67 here, and I agree! My kid has tuned me in to many groups the last 25 years that none of my peers are even remotely familiar with, and that's on them.....
Hillarious how that metabolically challenged rodent brings the regular anti-negging hippies and good-ol'-boys out of the woodwork, howling bloody murder, lol

I'm 64 and like this too. Small doses though.
If the volume is not up, you're doing it (listening) wrong!

Stay cool, xray38!  I'm a bit younger (42) yet still "too old for this" yet I crank it too....Long Live RP!!
This is awful 🤮

So true!!!!
Part of the music at the end seems lifted from the Akira soundtrack.
Every time the mau5 plays, the volume goes up.
bullshit

Something music has become worse, goes towards commerce. If this continues, the radio will cease to be unique and there will be another massive shit
Most boring electronica ever.
Sorry I really don’t like it. Really awful
OMG, what is this disgust?
Head banging music, in a good way.

When this plays, can't do nothin else.

Crank it up!
Sounds like the soundtrack to just about every YouTube thumbnail clickbait video I have seen

I've seen Deadmau5 with my teenage son a few times.  Pretty sure I was one of the oldest folks in attendance:)

Not my first choice in music.  But when you gaze across a sea of people, and they are all throbbing to the beat, I totally get it.  I don't think you get that same level of audience cohesion at a typical rock show.

Crank it up and enjoy the drop!

Best comment I've ever seen on the RP boards.
Techno is an abomination.
C'mon RP - Have you had a brain-fart or something?

Computer-based, or algorithm-based music has been "composed" and recorded since the 1970s.   Perhaps human influence is over-rated.

this is disturbing. and for that reason, I am out

Different spelling.
This is a good headphones tune.
There is "Austrian Apparel" if you want to listen to good Eurocore as well.

Fantastic. Thanks for some electro vibes!

Oh come on, there is a universe full of electro stuff that is magnitudes better than this (past) teenage shiit. Try Venetian Snares for an instance.
I wish I had some coke or meth , or X, or whatever, to make this enjoyable beyond the first minute...

No, this is simply bad. Its like Helene Fischer.

Thumbs up to counter the Thumbs down someone gave ya...not sure why....pretty funny rpdevotee!  Long Live RP!!
J'adoreeeeeee !  I love !!!
Maybe Bill sometimes just puts our tolerance limit to the test.
OK, stay calm ... breath ... inhale ... exhale ...
This is getting quite tiresome.

Surely you have more dance music to play other than this track.

Wake uuuup! {#Dancingbanana_2}
This is a comment testing v7 beta.
Such average crap.

Seriously. Why?
cmon - nothing against diversity, its whar makes RP such an amazing thing - but this is wothelss bu.....

i dont mind electronic music as long it is music and its containig some creativitiy - but this is pure annoyment
Despite all the reasons to not like this, I really enjoy it - guilty pleasure?  YouTube puts together a nice playlist of his songs.
It's ok, its a bit long.  Seven minutes of the same electronic stuff; while quite mindless and easy to work to, it just feels like someone messing around with their synthesizer, nothing really new here.
dreadful nonsense

this reminds me of getting a good high on in beautiful Amsterdam and then hearing this nonsense everywhere, almost. thank God for Cafe 420
Fantastic. Thanks for some electro vibes!
Just uprated this as there is a time and place for this and it just hit a sweet spot with me. Good driving music! "It was the music honestly officer..."
Greetings to all and to the Radioparadise Team :-) Live long and prosper :-)
Enough, already!
I so want to like this, but I'm not sure I really do. And I so want to NOT like it, but I'm not sure about that either.

What I really do like is the fact that RP plays eclectic music, so I never get bored.

Thanks, Bill.

I like a lot of the other Deadmau5 songs played here, but this doesn't bring a lot to the table.
Eurotrash
eclectic WTF
This "song" is about 7:35 too long
just down rated from a 2 to a 1

Me to  10.   I always turn it up when this plays.   The tubular bells at the end is not my fav tho.
wow
Try thinking of hand sanding a floor instead of dance disco.  Works for me.  <8

It doesn't really fit into the usual RP style but I like it anyway. Very nice every now and then.

8/10

Definitely not. It seems you haven't hear Gogol Bordello - Pala Tute yet...
P.S. Love this Deadmau5 track, rating 10.
I wonder what happened to dead mice 1,2,3 and 4..  was it fratricide? the cat?
This track is almost irritating. Others from Deadmau5 are more enjoyable, imho.
Designed for/by monkeys.
Well, it was about the time of the evening (3:15am) when I would be dancing to music like this in the clubs in SF about 30 years ago...

I also don't listen to RP for the RnR tracks, they bore me and sometimes there are long stretches of them. I happily PSD if I can. But I guess everybody will find something here they don't like or even dislike intensily. Isn't it weird though that we keep listening despite this? :-)

I know it’s not universally popular with listeners but I for one am enjoying the odd Deadmau5 and Bob Moses track that’s finding its way into the playlist!
To answer the question: Do any RP listeners like DeadMau5

On occasion, in measured doses. It changes the mood a bit. After all, isn't RP classed as eclectic.
And besides that, it's like traffic lights. No one likes them but they only last a few minutes then you're on your way.
Crappiest music on the playlist.

I frequently log on to RP to vent my disdain about hearing Deadmau5 - and some other EDM artists. (I'm also quick to compliment great finds, gems and relics from the past or new discoveries... i'm not just a complainer.)

Question is this.... do any RP listeners actualy like Deadmau5? I see its rated as a 6 in aggregate.

Thanks Bill for being so eclectic.... Maybe you're goal is to actually help us appreciate GOOD music that much more.

I guess.
Not what I listen to Radio Paradise for. Not that they/re not good but again, not what I listen to RP for and good reason to PSD.

Not my cuppa. It's like Jean Michel Jarre Lite with a surplus of cliches, mediocre melodies and a rhythm machine set to 'repeat'.
