This is a perfect example of a song, in which my first inclination would be to turn it up, and my wife's first, last and only inclination would be to turn it off.

Sorry about your luck.

Was surprised by this - whats up with that Bill?

Maybe Joe Satriani or Steve Vai perhaps?

Or Joe Bonamassa.

Your wife or Typesbad's wife?:

 I know, right? If he sticks with it, he could be really good...

  indeed.

Love me some Sonny Landreth.  Everyone I turn onto this guy is OMG, why have I not heard of him before?

For grandsons 6 & 9 - Sonny is among those to learn from, channel passion and vision for their musical voices. How cool to turn it up while dad's working upstairs? Privilege of being Poppy and not their father.

Thanks for the guitar fest, Bill.

 Well...........I know , I know . But I hear lonesome Dave.

Awesomeness!   What a great follow up to Nils Lofgren.  Sublime.
Badass without being over the top!

Perhaps you have the wrong wife !

[In a relationship some things are fundamental eg. food
Others a matter of taste eg. what is important

YMMV

I felt the same, but for New Orleans ; )

If you ever get a chance to see this guy, do it!

I've see him twice, indoor and outdoor, and its a jaw dropping experience.

Yahoo!! I was lucky enough to catch the same set a couple of months later!
Hard to top these three guitar greats back to back!

Cranked to 10. That's about 2kW of Bryston power plus another 1.5kW or so from the Paradigm Servo 15 subwoofer. Sonny is ripping the paint from my walls!
This entire album is terrific.  It's hard to tell it's a 3-piece band.  "Congo Square"  - the last track on the album - is a fecking clinic.  {#Notworthy}
Tone to the bone!!{#Bananajam}
Technically competent.  Other than that, kinda boring.
wick-ed
Fantastic!
Eloquent.

FABULOUS !!!!
Wow.
Wish i could do that!
