Nothing too innovative here, but a great song. Would have fit nicely on any Pretenders record. Love that she's still producing great music. One of my all time favorite rock writers.
She and Tom Petty could be siblings from another mother.
Just finished her autobiography "Reckless" published in 2015. How she is still alive and still eloquent and coherent is a miracle after the vast quantity of substances abused on a daily basis! Great read. She was at Kent State in 1970 and took part in the demo. which is graphically described.

Many times I've heard this, her voice, the way she still has that purr, is what catches me by the ears. This time, I can't help but notice the amazing clanging guitar accompanying her! I can never forget the thrill of seeing The Pretenders open for The Who back in 1980.

Picked this CD up for my wife for Christmas. Great to hear Chrissie and I've loved the two or three listens I've had so far.
From all of us in our 7th decades, thank you, Chrissie (and Bob, Sir Paul, Sir Mick, and a few others) for showing 'em that we still have it.

I can only surmise that, as with any new release, those who like it want to hear it more often, including BillG.
