It's more than 'kind of' catchy. It makes me tap my toes and curl my lips into a smile when it starts. It's a tune. Doesn't matter I heard it first in an ad.
Modern rock radio has driven this into the ground for me. And that's fine. It's not my cup of tea.

I think sunflowerbee has the right attitude on this one. Try it you might like it.
Like the entire album. Heard it a few years ago and played it a lot. First time hearing it on RP.
At the right time, right place, in the right frame of mind, this song is a 9.5. Other times it's just an 8.

Saw them live twice. The first time it was a surprise as a support for another band. I had never heard of these guys, but they rocked! After that I looked them up and you can definitely hear their father's influence in the music they make. The second time I bought a ticket to a show in Amsterdam and they blew off the roof! Got me a signed vinyl record as a present

He of "He's Gonna Step On You Again" and "Tokoloshe Man" fame from the early '70s (John Kongos) - also played here occasionally. These are his kids. Still, a guilty pleasure tune.

Like some others I instantly thought of John Kongos and so looked them up on Wiki. I think the track is better than it's current rating, which is perhaps low due to being overplayed in the USofA (but not in the UK). The album is quite good too - some tracks show more of their father's influence than others.

I like the really complicated, shuffling rhythms to this, but I keep hearing the chanted verse as "War! Go (not come) with me now!" Doesn't make a lot of sense, but then it doesn't have to.

I love it every time you play this song! I bought their album based on this song and I am thrilled. I recommend this groups music 100%. It'd be nice to hear other cuts (Hey I Don't Know, I'm Only Joking, Kids These Days) - please consider expanding the playlist. Thanks!

OK, not sure what it is that I like about this. It's incredibly quirky, the way the accordion mingles with the slide guitar and the shouty alternative vocals. I definitely like it though. Off to explore the artist on Napster (streaming music service, not illegal download service).
