In the black out of light
I found a rhyme on hope
In the corner of doubt
Someone left a word hanging on to me still
A comfort I say
The making of a slow day

I draw a pair of new eyes in my mind
Reaching out who knows what I could find

Walking aimlessly
Walking aimlessly
Walking aimlessly

In blue hours of dawn
Before the day rushes on
And confusion grabs hold
Have the thoughts come and let go

I draw a pair of new eyes in my mind
Reaching out who knows what I could find

Walking aimlessly
Walking aimlessly
Walking aimlessly

In the black out of light
I found a rhyme on hope
In the corner of doubt
Someone left a word hanging on to me still

Walking aimlessly
Walking aimlessly
Walking aimlessly

For some reason I mix names of Agnes Obel and Anna Ternheim. Musically I prefer Anna.
First time i heard this lady very impressed with her voice
This whole album is a beaut.
Pleasant enough, but the backing vocals are pretty weak.
now that was interesting Bob Dylan to this. Long Live RP....
Nice voice.

The RP lyrics page for this song includes the following:

"...Reaching out who knows what I could find
Rob from always on the run is so bad and copy paste is a sin
Walking aimlessly..."

Intrigued, I searched on the odd-ball phrase and found:

https://www.alwaysontherun.net/ anna.htm#t7

If you piece those two fragments together, and follow the resulting link, you'll see the same lyrics as are found on RP's lyrics page. However, you won't see on that page the second of the three lines quoted above—unless you defeat styles, or otherwise remove site-specific colours on that page.

Maybe it would be prudent to search through the RP site and remove all such bony, accusatory fingers of text...

Edit 23-01-2017: see also the lyrics for Joseph Arthur's "Travel As Equals" here, on RP's site.

I found quite a few references across the internet. Apparently somebody thinks Rob from Always On The Run is a dick.

Maybe your churches should move in together and have a baby church. {#Meditate}

Great voice. You can always realize great talent when a song is stripped down one instrument and a voice.

I did recently, and absolutely not regretted it  {#Angel}
I really need to shell out a few bucks and pick up some Anna Ternheim discs.

Man, this is a good set.  Very folksy tune, Anna!  Kudos............

And now Pearl Jam!  You are too kind, RP!

Such a good album from start to finish.  Thanks for Anna RP.  PS If you are digging this you could do worse than a nice little Scandanavian tour from Anna through Ane Brun on to First Aid Kit and stop by Sophie Zelmani on your way back.

That sounds like a lovely tour....

Yes, beautiful song!
Ah sweet. First heard her here on RP, and thanks to that went to see her here in Amsterdam with David Ferguson. An entirely lovely evening, a perfect delight.
OK. This gal's starting to get under my skin, and especially with this song.
Here she is doing a beautiful solo acoustic verison of the song.

Amazing talent...shades of Sandy Denny...
The more I hear her (and love her) is she this generations Joni?
