Kinda Buckley, kinda Elbow, a bit too much of the wailing though.

This sounds more up-tempo and "jazzy/bluesy" than any of the material I've heard from Buckley or Elbow.

Yes it is.  Good stuff!

Sounds a bit like Jamie Collum.

... apparently he's been supporting act

Doesn't really sound like Elbow to me, but Bill should totally follow this up with One Day Like This

This excellent album is not available on the Canadian iTunes.

I agree. Maybe his next album will have better songwriting.

Like his others, don't care for it at all.
Nice tune, but the words are too repetitive, too repetitive, too repetitive.

At first I thought this was Flight of the Conchords. I liked it better when I thought it was supposed to be funny.
BINGO, buddy.
Have RP on while I work and every time Tom Baxter is on I have to go and check who it is - must just strike someting with me!! Flight of the Concords - I don't see the resemblance :-)
He was my favorite Dr Who! :bounce:

Wow, only yesterday I commented that I was surprised that RP hadn't yet playlisted Tom Baxter and tonight here he is. Great, really like.
Yes, I was just saying how you were just saying... Enjoy!

Hint of John Mayer ? or visa versa...smooth & solid 7.

Nice voice! Reminds me of Jeff Buckley, but a little edgier. Good song, too -- I like the synth string arrangement and the tasty guitar strums. I'll start the ratings: 8.
