To date, this is still my favorite piece from them. Great stuff overall, and most enjoyable to experience live.

Quite possibly the funniest comment on RP?

oh radio paradise... no words.
It's got a good beat, but I'm not sure I could dance to it!!!
Ah, yes! It has finally been long enough since I last heard this that I can once again enjoy it.
Thank you, Bill, for the superb job you do; curating the tunes to bring a smile to my ears.
{#Notworthy}
I was just listening to Buster Voodoo, from their later album 11:11, and just about bouncing out of my seat on the bus.  Heck of a way to start a Friday off right.  {#Yes}
God, how I love this duo! And how I'd love to see them live. Hope they're not shut out of the USA. Again. :-|
Saw this one while listening to the track. Perfect fit.

LAUREL AND HARDY DANCING GIF
Not worth all those fervent and sadly wasted guitar strums.....

If you think that Spanish girl Gabriela is good let's hear it for an English girl Joss Greenberg...

Love it as I always have since first listen with the added bonus that these guys are one of those bands where once you see them all the tracks sound even better for some reason like a little piece of the gig is stuck in your head and pops out each time you hear them.
Outstanding!
Excelente tema! {#Bananajam}
Fabuloso!

Did anyone ever see them play this live on Letterman? Paul Shaffer was shaking his head after watching Gabriela play guitar and play percussion at the same time. This clip does not have Shaffer reacting. But I have seen one with it.

Reminds me of the coolest little pulpo bar in Barcelona — "Bar Celta" — a trio of crazy drunk Catalans jamming on guitars and singing for the wine... The old guys let the young guy sit in on a couple tunes. Real music. Real food too.

This is a most excellent link if you can stop listening to RP long enough to give it a go.
often called roach stomping music, that may or may not be, but i like it. then again i love gypsy kings and any guitar virtuosity you have.  there is an amazing youtube of tommy emmanuelle covering mason williams' classical gas which is also a little easier on the roaches. but i sense we are in a creepy crawly set so stomp on.  (7)

You know, some songs you feel like you kind of respect the artist's musicianship despite not liking their music - this is one of those times.
I listen to RP a lot, and have been introduced to many excellent groups that I had not heard before, but RYG is may favorite find from this station.

I saw Rodrigo y Gabriela this summer in concert.  They are amazing.

I would never want to play poker with Gabriela, her fingers and hands move way too fast.

Don't know Rodrigo Y Daniela so may have to agree with you. On the other hand I love Rodrigo Y Gabriela. You may want to listen to them instead.
Hard to deny this is fantastic.

However, if you just go with LSD you will probably not need the PSD. Trust me, I'm a doctor.
They are excellent musicians, and they annoy me a lot.
Even so, they do do their genre very well, it must be admitted.
Very cruel is right. One of my definitions of hell is a 5 hour concert of Mariah Carey accompanied by Kenny G.  A Lady Gaga-Michael Bolton duet. Shit like that.

Oh now really, that is very cruel, indeed.
Don't know how I feel about the song, but as someone who doesn't play any instruments, their playing is visually stunning.

Anyone who thinks this sucks really is in need of a reverse frontal lobotomy. It's so massively talented and such a joy to listen to, I'm tapping my feet like a crazy man at work - everyone is looking at me :)
sucks. {#Arghhh}

HORRIBLE!
This is brilliant. Love it.
Played too much!
And this time on Peter Gabriel's Rhythm of the Heat!  Apparently this is the ultimate bridge tune.
Absolutely brilliant follow on the Rock-A-Teens!

The "Live in Japan" CD has a great version of this song, with more energy due to the crowd —- it's worth a listen if you like what you hear here.
these 2 are unbelievable - especially her! wow!

Always did like this.....
I had to stop what I was doing to find out who this was. Very engaging.

This will be added to my 'cooking mix' when preparing those scrumptious meals that require a bottle of wine and an afternoon of hanging out with family and friends. This will be perfect for the slicing and dicing portion of the preparation. Just sayin'.

{#Dance}
its catchy alright...but I can only picture the Puss and Boots flamenco duel, its a pisser!

Shear genius!
It's great music!!
TU

Saw these two live in Portland last night with C.U.B.A.  What a freakin' show!!!
It's great music for old fogies getting together and pretending to dance the fandango.... yeah, they can play very well, but the music does get tiring. Once a month would be quite OK... or every two months...bleh...
My dad and uncle are big fans. My uncle saw the video of this and went and downloaded everything they had out.
The exact same song is playing on my ipod right now! {#Eek}

You're probably going to hate this then.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9NF2edxy-M  - Walk off the Earth and their cover of "Somebody that I used to know."
I was laughing the other day while I was watching the Golden Globe awards — they were announcing Puss in Boots and played this song!  I said hey, I know that — it's Rodrigo Y Gabriela!
Love them!
RP is rockin' Xmas... keep it rollin!!

I'm included to disagree.
Few guitarists can make a guitar sound anywhere near this amazing, and if that involves them 'slapping the crap out of a guitar' then long may they keep slapping.

On the other hand, slapping the crap out of a poster who does not get this style is very pleasant indeed.

One "band" I'd really like to see in concert—preferably close-up. These two are amazing. Their YouTube videos are fabulously entertaining!
