Somebody wants you
Someone out there
Somebody needs you
Somebody cares
Somebody loves you
Someone somewhere
But if nobody's there

Here they come again
Whispers in my head
Same old sad refrain
Wished I'd never said
What I said... yeah
Take me to the top
I need more not less
And don't ever tell me when to stop

Here comes tomorrow
And yesterday's news
Empty and hollow
Broken and bruised
No one to follow, nothing to lose
And only you can choose

Somebody wants you
Someone out there
Somebody needs you
Somebody cares
Somebody loves you
Someone somewhere
But if nobody's there

They were contemporaries, though Ian McCulloch is no fan of Bono:
"'I've always thought he was a c***,' offers the singer. 'A real proper one. Had he been in Liverpool, he would have been laughed out of the place. U2 have never been liked in Liverpool. We know a fake when we see one.'"
LOVE THE B-MEN

The song strongly reminds me Lightning Seeds - You Showed Me. Although it is probably not a cover...

No idea what you're talking about. {#Dancingbanana_2}

Quite like this tune. The best EotB songs were before they broke up but they be better overall after they re-formed.

..saw they're touring w/James in Europe in spring'13..a show that Must come to the States (one hopes & prays)..

..8 >> 9 on this one..
Nice post-psychedelia.

Oh yeah! Agreed. Love this band, one of my faves since way back when. Great to see / hear them together again. :-)

These guys have been touring for the last couple years. Good stuff!
Toe-Tappin' Good Stuff! :drummer:
Now this is an excellent cut for the bunnymen. Could you please consider dropping that other stupid bunnymen cut you insist on playing repeatedly?
hooray for the resurgence of Echo & The Bunnymen!!
It's Alright!
If you haven't heard their new album "Siberia" you should check it out...good stuff!
This song does connect with the old sound a little bit. Gangly guitar by Will and that trippy Liverpool sound.... Saw Ian, Will and the new boys doing some sets on the late night Craig Furgeson show...not too bad for a couple of old guys... Long live the Bunnymen!

same...I gave up on em after Ocean Rain...this song was actually one of the better ones I've heard from them lately, but still not up to the early standard IMO.
Agreed! Crocodiles, Heaven up here, and Porcupine are all awesome albums. Ocean rain is the beginning of the end, and self titled album really pushes them into a pop abyss. Too bad, they really had the stuff in the day.

They used to be one of my favorite bands in the early 80's. It seems they ran out of ideas rather quickly though. I really haven't got anything from them since then. One of the biggest dissapointments of my music listening life. Another was the Psycedelic Furs.

Guess I've missed what these guys did since the late 80s/early 90s. They used to be one of my favorite bands. Sounds good.
