I happen to like the beat, the playful lyrics, and overall urge to dance. Good song, good album. I also liked their whole Pop Mart deal, too. I agree that you have to appreciate a band for trying different things. Take Dave Matthews Band's "Before These Crowded Streets." I don't like DMB, but I like that one because of its edginess.
"some days you can't stand the sight of a puppy" lol
Lame.

This album can't win. Anyone who doesn't like U2 hates it Most of those who do like U2 hate it Luckily I am happy to have one of my favourite bands experiment and try different musical directions and this album gets a 9 from me and this track an 8. So there
I'm with ya!

"Some days you can't stand the sight of a puppy" - sure, and some days you can't stand the sanctimonious sound of U2, and this is one of them. Some of their tracks are half-decent, but this has to be in their Bottom 10, IMO. A 2.
I totally agree! Pure crap!
...some songs are better than others. 5.

I hated this album. If it wasn't for the guitar riff in the background I'd say its a no brainer.
Holy god... Some songs are better than others. Bleh
Let's not forget The Smiths' earlier take on a similar rhyme scheme: Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others (...some girls' mothers are bigger than other girls' mothers).
This isn't a change the world song, but sheesh, U2 has a million of those already. Nice and laid back. :-)
So I am reading about the Jesus Tomb controversy and thinking gosh I need some music... And when I hook up to Radio Paradise it is U2 singing the line "Some days are work, most days you're lazy Some days you feel like a bit of a baby Lookin' for Jesus and His mother Some days are better than others " FREAKY STUFF MAN!
Being a big fan of U2, this one will probably not become one of their all times best, at least the lyrics will not end up in English literature books. Some days one had better go fishing or wanking.
Bonobo & Bono - good connection :o)

One of my FAVORITE U2 songs. I think it's that Adam Clayton bassline.

I don't share the feeling, but please enjoy. I'd personally rather never hear U2
Damn straight.
I like this song :)
Some days you just need to hear some U2 :-)
...some days are like bouncers that won't let us in... brilliant.
