I think this must be the boy-band version.

Guster? A boy band? Listen to Ruby Falls and tell me N'sync would ever write a song like that.

Ridiculous.

Some songs are nearly impossible to cover. This is a perfect example. Nice effort but leaves me bland.

Personally, I think it has more to do with what you're used to. I heard Guster's cover first, and now everytime I hear the original, it sounds whiny and anemic in comparison.

Didn't need to be covered. . Somehow, I don't think these guys have ever seen a Pizza Hut.
? Why would they have never seen a Pizza Hut? This is my favorite Talking Heads song. Not the best cover ever, but a fun and timely revival from a groovy and under-rated band.

As far as covers go, I think Guster did a fine job! Especially instrumentally and harmonically. I'll bet TH would be proud.
wolf wolf...sorry bud..I just talk to them and they didn't like it...
Very weak. What's the point?

Just makes me love TH even more. Guster is merely the vehicle here, much as cauliflower is an excellent vehicle for cheese sauce.
hehe. Perfect analogy! :D
Certainly lacks the soul of the original ... barely any soul to it at all, actually.
i like guster but this is pretty bad.

boring...

i can say: talking heads. this is ok, but the vocals lack in intensity what they might make up for in enunciation. the lyrics were in the original album cover anyway...and cassette cover...and cd cover Konrad wrote:
I never thought I'd ever say that but now I miss David Byrne's voice. Although, I rather like this cover and I'm not sure I could say which version I like best.

I like this cover. Rather than bland, I think it's easier to comprehend their lyrics; Byrne tends to slur his enunciation into the tapestry of the music. And it's a great cautionary song...
I think this must be the boy-band version.
I love this song by the Talking Heads, but this version seems kind of bland.
