Killed?  Hardly.  Saw one -- no, TWO --  last week when Joe Bonamassa played at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

Luckily they were never exterminated, just endangered. They've been making a come-back over the last 10 years. Of course, if you've ever had to roadie one of those things(hernia), you can understand why so many players switched to synths in the 70's & 80's.

I first heard this on the Northern Exposure television show soundtrack. It turned me on to Booker T and the MGs. They played the Ottawa Blues Festival a few years back - amazing set!
