I'm a paranoid schizophrenic
With surround sound speakers

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

I hooked my cell phone
To a megaphone
To my headphone
And I'm still alone

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

And I'd like to talk to you right now
But it's me on the other line
I'll call you back
When the weather man
On the news gives me the sign
And I know you think
They're all out to get you
But they're really out to get me
Can't you see

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

I'm a millitant environmentalist
In a Ford Exploder

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

I'm a xenophobic tapiocaphobe
And a claustrophobic agoraphobe

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

And I'd like to talk to you right now
But it's me on my other mind
I'll call you back when the spaceship lands
In 1949
And I know you think they're all out to get you
But they're really out to get me
Can't you see

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

I'm a bipedal omnivoric semi-simian
Who is always mating

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

And I'm chewing up the whole planet
And I'm procreating

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

And I'd like to talk to you right now
But it's time to procreate
I'll call you back when my head's cut off
But of course that will be too late
And I know you think they're all out to get you
But they're really out to get me

Wheeeeeeeeee!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

I'm a militant environmentalist
In a Ford Exploder
Or a decade later...

I'm driving around in Virtuous EV
No concern for African Kids diggin' Deep
In Chinese owned mines to build my Battery ....
These lyrics need an update on the Hypocrisy

They're everywhere!
They're everywhere!

:)
Feels like this should be followed by The Tubes' "Attack of the 50-ft Woman"...

Well said.
This is a nice, easy song.
I liked it a lot and it'll probably be ringing in my head for some time.
I love his song Stress:. "But I'm fine! I'm fine! I'M FINE!"  Lol!
There are some great songs on this album.

I just came back to see if it was a TMBG side project.
Really reminiscent of TMBG.

Oh yeah they are
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that no one's out to get you
That fine line between everybody is out to get you and nobody getting you. :-)

Ochh, laddie.
I suspect that 5 is in fact the mean is the calculated version of average for this song.
It could be the median value, though hard to tell from the tabulated data.
The mode appears to be 7.

(I couldn't find a mathnerd emoji, so this will have to suffice.)
I am retired for this , sorry 🙄
An average rating of 5 seems more than a little mean for this song.

Now some of that was pretty funny. I achieved what Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche referred to as "the anti-nirvana of complete ignorance", a state of meglomaniacal grandiosity where the ego fancies itself a diety(or bodhisattva or whatever), where everything is perceived as solid and dualistic, good or evil, for me or against me. But some insight, pure Dharma, and some very negligible side effect medication(once I convinced them I didn't need anymore Haldol ) settled all that. Having a very clear and graphic idea of what Enlightenment "IS NOT" can actually be pretty valuable. See: Peter Gabriel/Afrocelt "When You're Falling" and Laurie Anderson's "Gravity's Rainbow"
I found your post MOST interesting. Did Rinpoche describe George W, or what?

GW has nothing on President Tweety!
I'll give this an 8.5 for Most Enjoyable!
This is definitely ~NO HASHPIPE!

They are indeed.

Yes. Yes, this works for me. A 4.9 rating? Such a bunch of haters.

Not quite as clever or musically talented as John & John (IMHO), but this song isn't bad.  Some funny lyrics; apparently there is a humor-deficiency among some of the critics here.  Cool cover art too.

Wow, lots of negatives on this one. Come on people, it's ok to like a song because it's silly and fun.
Here's to all those tapioca-phobes, who are indeed under every rock!

Maybe it's me, but this sounds like an electrified Loudon Wainwright III. Not that that's a bad thing....

Funny....but its not the Aliens.....It's the government and BIG CORPORATIONS.....
Wow...over five years between plays.  Can hardly hear the vocal over the dust cloud.  Just as well.

Gracious! Lighten up people. This is hysterically funny.

the lyrics are funny. i'm okay with funny music, but not often. i can appreciate these guys and what they do, it's just not a style i enjoy most of the time.

not really listenting to the lyrics much, but...not crazy about these vocals.
Apparently I'm in the minority, but I like it....... Sounds like this would be a very fun group to see in person as well.

That adolesent voice is a killer. It did help me discover a second mute button, so it's not all bad.
This song is mis-titled. It should be" It's Nowhere!"
This puts me in the mind of They Might Be Giants. Probably the vocals for the most part. I haven't made up my mind about it just yet, though. Upon scanning the other comments...apparently I'm not alone in my observation!
For a novelty album, nothing beats Jack Black's Tenacious D. It's funny and it rocks.
Plain and simple: ANNOYING!
the more i hear this song, the more amatuerish it sounds.
Lame, easy, countruish..do not play again...
Sounds a lot like the Drive By Truckers, another band worth playing.

this guy has talent. too bad his humorous satire is so lame and dumb. i think he's trying to say something ironically incisive, but it's not working. maybe he'll grow into someone who can communicate a message to the general populace. that would be a good thang.
My first rating was a "6", mainly for the novelty effect. It dropped to 4 at the second listening, then to 2. It's now a 1. When are you adding negative notes Bill? ;)

I really don't like all this power pop......seems to be taking over college radio. Am I supposed to think it's groovy.....it's funny......or maybe that it's witty? Well, I do not! 'Fountains of Wayne,' is a step above most though. :verymad: :grumpy.gif:
Blessed relief after that Blues Traveler crap.
8-< They're everywhere! 8O
Aparently, trying to be clever is not enough to actually be clever.
funny lyrics ...can relate....but the song sounds kind of so/so...oh well nice to have some off the cuff stuff in the mix
Just trying too hard to be TMBG for me to rate it higher than a 4.

Great stuff! Heard this on NPR the other day.
I want to listen to it again.

sometimes you just gotta throw a little fun into the mix...loved it!!
ain't it the truth i like this.

Too funny!
This song is inTERMINable. "Stress" was ten times the song this is. "They're everywhere" is not something that should be repeated ad nauseum in a song. This is giving me a headache.
