Ah-dee-ah-dee-ah-dee-ah-dee-ah-dee-ah-dee-ah-dee-ah-dee-ah

I never used to cry 'cause I was all alone
For me, myself and I is all I've ever known
I never felt the need to have a hand to hold
In everything I do I take complete control
That's where I'm coming from
My lucky number's one

I've everything I need to keep me satisfied
There's nothing you can do to make me change my mind
I'm having so much fun
My lucky number's one
Ah! Ooh! Ah! Ooh!

I now detect an alien vibration here
There's something in the air besides the atmosphere
The object of the action is becoming clear
An imminent attack upon my heart I fear
The evidence is strong
My lucky number's wrong
Ah! Ooh! Ah! Ooh!

Something tells me my lucky number's gonna be changing soon
Something tells me lucky number's gonna be two-ee-oo-ee-oo-ee-oo-ee-oo

You certainly do have a strange effect on me
I never thought that I could feel the way I feel
There's something in your eyes gives me a wild idea
I never want to be apart from you my dear
I guess it must be true
My lucky number's two

This rearrangement suits me now I must confess
The number one was dull and number two is best
I wanna stay with you
My lucky number's two
Ah! Ooh! Ah! Ooh!

Number two, number two

Didn't hear this on RP but used to have the album and looked it up. More likeable than good, wouldn't mind hearing Lene here (along with The Fabulous Poodles).
was my favorite song for quite a while as a teen in the early 80's
Pretty dismal ratings for this one. How about "New Toy?"

Thanks, this was a nice change of pace. Always good to toss in a few from the recesses of the "way-back machine" on RP.
Agreed. Haven't heard this one in quite a while. I must have never paid attention to who released it, because I haven't a clue who Lene Lovich is. Is this the original release or a later remake?
YEAH!!@!!!!!!! I didn't even know that you had played this in the past. What about the Blue Motel? WHAT ABOUT NINA HAGEN? LOVE THIS TYPE OF 80'S MUSIC.
Spandex-picable.
Let me know when I can turn my speakers back up....
Now this is the stuff from the 80s that we should be hearing more of!

An unbelievable combination, but you're right! It's a song I found (sort of) fun and strangly refreshing at the time. Mm, as a matter of fact, I hardly remember whether I did, but I guess so :-k

Saw her at University of Buffalo many years ago. Yodels, shrieks and whines spewed out of a petite woman in a quasi-ethnic costume and spiral braids that reminded me of Princess Leah. Interesting character. This tune\'s amusing and OK to hear in passing.

Her lucky rating is \"1\".
So this gets picked and \"Atomic Dog\" doesn\'t?
A two it is then.

Very odd... I was going to try uploading this over the weekend... and here it is...
