When you're lonely
Feeling small
When tears are in your eyes
I will dry them all

I'm on your side
When times get rough
And friends just can't be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

When you're down and out
When you're on the street
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you

I'll take your part
When darkness comes
And friends just can't be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

Sail on Silver Girl,
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way
See how they shine
If you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

Not likely to happen, what with her being dead and all.

Hey Lisa I got these two tunes added: Eva Cassidy - Autumn Leaves Eva Cassidy - Ain't No Sunshine
:frustrated: This is terrible. I don\'t know if this would hurt more or less if I didn\'t also like Simon and Garfunkel. This makes me need to hear some Led Zep and some Autechre....simultaneously :p
:frustrated: Let\'s get some f-n rock\'n\'roll! I\'m getting bored of damned american DJ\'s playin\' soft CA gaymusic!
We can probably blame the record industry for this - trying to fill a demand by scraping up everything she every laid down on tape. I\'m surprised no one has issued a release of her telephone answering machine greeting.
sounds like something i could really enjoy in a small, smokey club in the village.
This is fabulous - I can\'t for the life of me understand the posts below. Did we listen to the same song?

ARRGGHH!!! Make it stop... please make it stop

Dude, she recorded this not knowing it was going to be published. Her music was strictly for her and no one else. Once asked why she always closed her eyes when performing (the questioner, thinking it was because she really got into her music) she stated that it was because she was deathly afraid of the audience.
Yes, this is great. Why such a low rating? The talent really shows.
wow, I really think this is nice, it is nice to hear someone\'s pure voice and emotions once in a while. I am surprised by the negativity. thanks for this one.

Listen, you aspiring musicians: if you want to cover a great song you better be able to pull it off, or at least have a completely new take on it. My poor soiled eardrums. :(
please, stop the elevator... I\'m getting off at this floor.
Okay, but certainly not her best work. She had a gorgeous voice. :( RIP Ms. Cassidy.
