I was lookin' back on faded dreams from yesturday
Like a brush from my past they painted the evening sky
But the currents so strong, I couldn't hold on
They kept rollin' by
And all the colors bled into a river of time

The innocent child fades into the mist on the river of time
An angry young man is shaking his fist on the river of time
Roll on river of time, rage on river of time

There are faces and places I hold sacred
Some I've passed along the way
Some live on in memory, some I've passed along the way
With the rain from a storm, a river is born
Winding down to the sea, and the river of time
Keeps on rollin' thru eternity

The angry young man learns how to forgive
On the river of time
He holds an innocent child in his arms
On the river of time
Roll on river of time
Rage on river of time

Hello RP from Scotland! Been listening a while now and lovin it!
I can listen to Bill Miller all day long.  Thanks for including him in your playlist!  He's excellent in concert, by the way.

Wow — Bill Miller! I didn't think many other people had even heard of him. What a pleasant surprise to hear him on RP! I've seen him in concert too, and I agree that it's one of the better shows I've seen. More, please!

So weird... feels like I'm in a time machine talking to my past self, 13 effin years ago! Boy I've been listening to RP a long time. Also, kind of amazing to see 11 years between plays on a song. Wonder what makes Bill G resurrect certain songs after so long?

Great performer. Well worth seeing live....

Pretty good if you ask me. And I know you didn't, but I asked myself.

LOL!
I thought Springsteen's "The River" was good. I don't see this on the track listing - is this on the DVD version or something?

I love Bill Miller, unfortunately this is not his best album. I encourage others to check out his earlier and later works, as this album was heavily influenced by Warner Bros. records. Before this album he had much better stuff, and after. I think he was trying to fit into an image on Raven in the Snow. I have been to his live perfomances more than a few times. He is incredible live.
According to AMG Miller's first two albums were wt Warner/Reprise. He then switched to Vanguard.

I think it is more Roy Orbison. I thought he had croaked finally.

Off to a great start. A little too much tremelo in the voice, not a strong refrain.
Very much along the lines of Bruce Springsteen. Would like to hear some more please to get a better scope of this guy .. Bill Miller.
When did Bruce Springsteen change his name?
not bad, pretty average but I could see enjoying this much more if in the right mood (after about 4 beers)

Great tune that was new to me. This is part of what\'s great about RP.
I enjoy Bill\'s music. I saw him in concert one night and it was one of the better shows I\'ve seen.
The harmonica sounded EXACTLY like Springsteen and the final guitar part sounded just like the Byrds. Good Call!
Cliche after cliche. Yuck.
