A little help please

Posted by p4jkafla - Apr 2, 2015 - 7:20am
Hey everyone,
I know it's been a while.

Anyhoo...

My younger brother Peter died on Sunday morning from liver and kidney failure. He was a chronic alcoholic. His wife died five years ago from the same thing. Peter was a great guy, and a really good dad. He just couldn't overcome the drink. He left two daughters behind, both in high school. We're trying to sort out what we can do for them, and we could use a little help. My older brother set up a Go fund me page to see if we can raise some money for them so they can stay in their place a little longer and finish their high school in the same place. Cassie and Hannah are tremendous people; incredibly accomplished students and self sufficient but this is just over their heads.

If you could donate, or share the link, it would be really appreciated.

Edit: As of 4/16 we've raised over $22,000 for the girls. I cannot believe it. Here is a link to a news article they were featured in as well as a video done by the local nbc affiliate.

I do joke now and then, but not about this.

And I'll tell Pal about the typo. Thanks for pointing it out.

Aw, I thought you were going to make a joke in here.

I hope this works out for them (beautiful girls!) and I'm sorry for your loss. No matter the reason, it's got to be hard.

And because I'm that guy, you might tell Pal that there's a typo: San Macros instead of San Marcos. Don't want to offend any San Marcosians
