Dear Friendos,

Great News! We found a beautiful home thanks to certain people who helped us talk to the rental manager and the 70 plus people who donated cash. The property manager was so kind, she disregarded many factors that would normally disqualify us like horrific credit, etc. In fact, when she found out we were a little "different", fold she told uss she wanted to be a 'blessing in out lives'. She has a child who is disabled and extended such warm empathy we were almost speechless. Which is normal for us autistic people... but you know what I mean.

Th new house is in Auburn - a good 3 hour drive. It'll be an expensive move and we have just enough money to cover the move-in costs with a bit left over. We have to buy renters insurance. We need to buy a used a used washer and dryer. We have no furniture except a couple desks, a small dinette set and 2 old, old beds. We have no living room furniture at all. I'm sure there are other costs that I haven't even thought of yet and other things we'll need to make the house a home.

I know most of you are sick to death of seeing me post this (on facebook). I completely understand. I really do. We've been called all kinds of names - from beggars to scammers to thieves, I've had my integrity and motivations challenged by members of my own (extended) family. But I have to keep trying until we obtain at least the bare basics of the stuff it takes to make a home. I'm humbled and overjoyed at the generosity of the people who have helped us with donations and service and encouragement. I'm also embarrassed and disgusted with myself to have found myself in such a predicament even though I know there are others much worse off than us.

So... if anyone feel scompelled to help - again or for the first time - I guarantee your compassion will be payed forward... and then some.

Warm Regards,

Rob and Mag and the girls.

We would love to see how you make it your home. From scratch. Don't forget to photo the progress. It can be a blessing for many in the same situation!
