growing up i had a small group of oddball friends that were into everything forbidden/taboo

the "wrong" sex, drugs, music, cinema, clothes, cars, culture, etc.

hanging out with them was great, it was like we had big middle fingers growing out of the top of our heads

zappa among other naughty stuff was part of that experience
