I went to the opening night of the tour in New Jersey. Fantastic show! I brought a musician friend who was only familiar with their hits and he was blown away. They even played Feel the Benefit, my all time favorite song by them. I didn't realize they hadn't toured the US in over 30 years. Hope you enjoyed the concert!

The next gig she's doing close to "home" is in Charleston, SC. There are no Greensboro or Durham gigs on her schedule, but she doesn't live near us anymore; I think she lives in Ireland now.

Yes, with her children. She does come to town frequently because her family is here. I last saw her perform here at the folk festival a couple of years ago.

Well, since Mick and Keif, as well as Ian and Jon Anderson are taking it slow, I myself decided to take it slow as well. Even if Peter Gabriel is still "acting up" with his new album, I have learned well to subsist on canned tunes, including his. So what the fuss, Pete?!
One of my greater jumps from the stone-age were the headphones gifted from my brother. Heavy, noise-cancelling over-ears from Sony. - Damn, they really do rock, once I let them!

Yes she is. She's very graceful with the weight of fame.

Only a little bit - she's not as genre-specific as the Carolina Chocolate Drops were, and she has a lot more original material now. It was a great show and, no surprise, she's funny and engaging!

I really want to see her but I'm afraid it might seem like a history lesson. There used to be a band around here that played a lot of what I'll call cajun music because that's not the point; they liked to explain the history and significance of each and every song and how it related to the previous song and how it influenced some other song and oh my god just play it and hand me a libretto!

I'm pretty bummed that I've missed my chance to see Deep Sea Diver in a small club. So an opening set with PJ would be okay, I guess ;-)

That should be a great show. Since she's gotten more renowned she doesn't play around here as much as she used to.

We saw her several years ago with Kronos Quartet and it was a fabulous show!
