A co-worker just been in one of those machines. He's claustrophobic, but he had no idea what was coming. Once in, he got panicky and wanted to press the buzzer real bad. Many times. But he waited a whole year for that (took that long to get an appointment after he hurt his shoulder) so he toughed it out. Once he got out, he told the nurse about his experience and she told him all he had to do was press the buzzer and she would have pulled him out. But he told her had he done that, he would have walked out. He would not have gone back in.

Hope all goes well for you, Coax.

Wow. This is great. Bacharach, Steely Dan, and more all through her stuff. Apparently the first album was 14 yrs ago and this is now number two...

In the first few seconds of the video, nods to Prefab Sprout, Springsteen, Rundgren, Gilbert O Sullivan (?)...

And notice the excellent touch in the video when she sings "pure" and uses the Mary Tyler Moore font. Great.

Wow is right. Not only a great song but an awesome video.

The CD of the live concert in Halifax is pretty good, too. I like the title because he was pretty much adopted as a Bluenoser.

Never got to see him live either, but I loved that album.

Got to sing Barrett's Privateers in an audience sing-along in a Methodist church once tho.

Cool!

I will never ever again think of Methodists as 'stuffy'.

Elton really Leon Russelled this one.  It is much better than the Trex album version:

Gone at far too young of an age.

Great album but my favourite is Between the Breaks. I'm sorry I never got to see him live.

Listening to Between The Breaks again. Such a beautiful album. Gone at far too young of an age, indeed.

I ordered the CD after haresfur mentioned it.  Nice to have on hand for a change, nice to have on hand for folks whose tastes in music are not exactly 'eclectic'.

Got help me, I am mesmerized by what these people have done. The drummer is firmly encased in her own world and has no interest of letting you or anyone else including her sisters in on it.{#Eek} I freekin love it!{#Lol}
