My buddies saw them play for BC at the UML games. This was the point when I was taking care of mom and never got the chance to see them. They were tops in college hockey.

There was some hope that he'd sign with the Flyers before he went to the Blue Jackets 2 years ago... but he and the team were on different trajectories (lucky for him).

I have ridden a bicycle for 30 years outside...in larger groups, with some who raced, and plenty solo... some years over 10k miles... on and around the road he was killed on. It's not "the middle of nowhere"... but it would feel like it 99% of the time.
I have all but stopped riding outside because there was a stretch where I knew at least 1 person a year killed on a bike. Distracted drivers....angry drivers... drunk drivers... careless drivers... and a lot of bad luck. I love riding, but have lost the desire. I was toying with getting out this weekend... but doubt that'll happen now. This really sucks.

My uncle was a member also. He is a charter member one of the first Hot Rod clubs in Southern California. One of the oldest members left.
I need to join SCTA when my Daytona is up and running.

A month before moving to New York in 1978 I flew in from Chicago where I was living to meet with my friend and her landlord about taking over her apartment. The airport bus from LaGuardia dropped me off in front of Grand Central and I started walking across 42nd Street. Greg Kihnâs song Madison Avenue had been on the radio a lot the summer before and I knew it well, especially that great extended guitar hook that opens it. As I turned up Madison Avenue it was playing in my head and I found myself walking in time to the beat. As I continued walking up with the music and lyrics playing in my head, I thought, âThis is how everyone should feel as they arrive in New York, like they belong here.â
Thank you, Greg, for all your music, but especially for this song which will always be a special favorite of mine.
I get the feeling he resented "Jeopardy" because it put him in a corner with Weird Al. But the checks probably made it all better. I only ever saw him as parts of other events, not in a sweaty nightclub. That would have been great because I had all of his Beserkley stuff at one point. Still have some oddball 7" B-sides etc.
