Just 10 miles down the road.  The 52nd anniversary.  There was no 50th remembrance due to the Covid lockdowns in 2020. Not sure what is planned for today.  I'll be down there later today to visit someone there.  Be interesting to see what if anything is being done this year.  The event gets smaller and smaller as time passes as the people who know and care get older and pass on.


Well it was just another day tooling around town and the campus.  Nothing of note.  Hard to believe its been 50 years now since I attended KSU.  I know that there were others who used to be here who were there that day, but they have moved on, too.

25th April marks a special day for we Aussies and Kiwis.  It's ANZAC Day.
It's a day of both sorrow and pride as we review our involvement in wars of old and the recent.
Remember the horrific way the 'Nam vets were treated back in the seventies ?wow things have now changed and
youngsters turn up in their many many thousands on this day to show their respect to these guys and girls who served our countries
