Attraction

I always go in but this time it smelled like death upstairs. Vulture feathers two feet long scattered around one room. I peeked around for a corpse then hustled on downstairs. Didn't want that stench to settle into my clothes.
In the past probably 30 visits I never smelled death in the house. Could have been an animal or one of the buzzards perfume. Maybe they roosted up there for awhile. Generally they roost on the tall power and cell towers. I didn't see evidence of anything that might have been dragged up that narrow stairwell, but the stench was rotten flesh guaranteed.

There is one room downstairs that I've only entered once because you can tell from the stains it is where someone spent their last days living and breathing.
