I know it makes me a bad person....but I'll admit to laughing out loud at this.
It's amazing... if he'd have announced the gifts while standing next to his new 25 year old girlfriend, no comments. Standing with his wife of 36 years... we're shocked. Getting older is not for the weak.
My Apology to Susan Dell where I'll just say yeah she seems like a good person who's spent her life being told how beautiful she is and being dismissed on every. other. thing.

No it isn't. Vanity is powerful thing for some; they ruin themselves in an attempt to look 26 until they die.

Vance is the most unelectable candidate I have ever seen. He doesn't stand a chance at the polls, hence, it's going to be a coup.. some kind of VP takes over the presidency, martial law thing.
But I actually think the American people won't buy that. And I mean the American people as a whole. Which means the techbros either use repression on a massive scale (which will only make it worse - Americans are fiercely independent after all) or they will crumble.
The innate genius of Trump was always his ambivalence and TV charisma. Vance hasn't got that. Musk hasn't got that. Thiel hasn't got that. Sacks hasn't got that. Miller hasn't got that. Without Trump they are lost.
But I'm not sure they know that.
This is why the 2026 elections are critical.
If the Dems don't take the House, Jan 6, 2029 might make Jan 6, 2021 look like a dress rehearsal... only this time at a national scale.
Pre-emptive strike to make sure Vance is exposed as the laughingstock he is.

I think we can finally stop talking about Trump. He's toast. If it is not his old age, then it his record low popularity and all those Republicans now suddenly wanting to distance themselves from him to improve their polling numbers.
Unfortunately, this is also what makes him prone to the real attack against him, which will come from Vance and the techbros who are just waiting their chance to put granddad out to pasture.
The way I see it, the U.S. could go one of two ways from here on in. Either free elections are held and the next government can start cleaning up the mess. Or the Techbros, Vance and Miller decide this is their time to cosplay their wetdream of a Nazi dictatorship change the course of history. I'm hoping for free elections, but feel the second is unfortunately the much more likely scenario. All the conditions are in place, it is now just a question of timing.

Billionaires are unpopular these days, even more than usual, and some of them are trying to court a better image by endorsing a government-guaranteed income for all Americans. Michael and Susan Dell have a better idea with their plan to donate $6.25 billion to 25 million children for savings accounts.
The founder of Dell Technologies and his wife will provide $250 for children age 10 or under who were born before Jan. 1, 2025. They will target children in zip codes with a median income of $150,000 or less. The birth date was chosen to complement the new âTrump accountsâ that the feds will seed with $1,000 for children born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028, who are American citizens. The new accounts are a provision in the GOP tax bill that passed this year.
The theory behind the Trump accounts is to give every young American a start on building up savings they can use after they turn age 18. Until then the money will be invested in a diversified index fund that tracks U.S. stocks. Parents and others will be able to contribute up to $5,000 a year in the accounts, after tax. Employers can chip in too, and Mr. Dell has said heâll do so for his employeesâ children.
The Trump accounts arenât without political risk since Democrats will try to expand the government donations to make the accounts another engine of income redistribution. Donât be surprised if the political left also tries to steer the assets into investments they favor, rather than the larger stock market. Itâs crucial that the accounts remain an individual property right.
